The aim of this research is investigating the characteristics of the customersof preferable clothing supply methods and present the relation of customercharacteristics with their preferences by defining the most preferable method ofclothing supplying.Related with the aim of the research descriptive methods are used, and forgathering data survey method is applied. The environment of the research isrestricted with the consumers of women clothing in Ankara. The sampling group iscomposed of 100 people, selected randomly from the women clothing consumers inthe district of Kızılay.The material used in this research is composed of the sources that areaccessed during literature survey and the data that is gained from the randomselected 100 women customers of confection and customer-ordered clothings whoaccept to answer the measuring devices.The results of the research is analyzed statistically in SPSS 14.0 program andnumerical values and percentages are calculated. In order to clarify the relationsbetween the preference reasons of confection and customer-made clothing with thecustomers' demographic al, economical and physical characteristics, Chi-square (x2)test is applied. In the result of the research the differences between the customers ofconfection and customer-ordered clothing is clarified. According to demographiccharacteristics and their profession, the customers of confection and customer-ordered clothing shows meaningful differences.Key Words: Confection, Customer-made clothing, consumer.

Bu araştırmanın amacı; bireylerin giysi gereksinimlerini karşılama yöntemlerinden en çok hangisini tercih ettiklerini belirleyerek , tercih edilen giysi edinme yöntemlerinin müşteri özelliklerini incelemek ve farklı yöntemleri seçen müşteri özelliklerinin aralarındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymaktır.Araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak betimsel araştırma yönteminden yararlanılmış olup, araştırma verilerinin toplanmasında anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni, Ankara ili kadın giysi tüketicileri ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Kızılay semtinde bulanan hazır giyim mağazaları ve moda evindeki kadın giysi tüketicilerinden, random örneklem alma tekniği ile seçilen 100 kişi, araştırmanın örneklem grubuna alınmıştır.Araştırmanın materyalini, hazır giyim ve ısmarlama giyim bayan müşterileri arasından raslantısal olarak seçilen ve ölçme aracına cevap vermeyi kabul eden 100 kişiden elde edilen veriler ve konu ile ilgili literatür taraması sonucunda ulaşılabilen kaynaklar oluşturmaktadır.Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler SPSS 14.0 programında istatistiksel analizleri yapılarak sayı ve yüzdelikleri hesaplanmıştır. Giysi edinmede hazır giyim ve ısmarlama giyim yöntemlerinin tercih nedenleri ile müşterilerin demografik ve fiziksel özellikleri arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek amacıyla Ki-kare (x²) testi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda hazır giyim ve ısmarlama giyim müşterileri arasındaki farklar belirlenmiştir. Hazır giyim ve ısmarlama giyim müşterilerinin, demografik özelliklerine ve mesleklerine göre anlamlı farklılıklar gösterdikleri görülmektedir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Hazır giyim, Ismarlama giyim,Tüketici.
