Bu araştırmanın amacı, alan ile ilişkilendirilmiş uygulamalı ölçme ve değerlendirme dersinin öğretmen adaylarının ölçme ve değerlendirme okuryazarlıklarına, ölçme ve değerlendirme dersine yönelik tutumlarına ve alan bilgilerine etkisini incelemektir. Araştırmanın bir diğer amacı ise, alan ile ilişkilendirilmiş uygulamalı ölçme ve değerlendirme dersinde öğrenim gören deney grubu öğretmen adaylarının, öğretim yöntemine, öğretim sürecine, süreç içerisinde kullanılan öğretim etkinliklerine yönelik görüşlerini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Araştırmanın nicel boyutu, 2013-2014 eğitim-öğretim yılı bahar döneminde Adıyaman Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi İlköğretim Fen Bilgisi Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalı'nın 3. Sınıfında öğrenim gören, deney grubu (N= 45) ve kontrol grubu (N=45) olmak üzere 90 fen bilgisi öğretmen adayı ile yürütülmüştür. Nitel boyutu ise, deney grubunda yer alan 6 öğretmen adayı ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada karma yöntem olarak adlandırılan, nicel ve nitel araştırma yöntemlerinin birlikte kullanıldığı araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Nicel verileri toplamak için ön test-son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen ile tek grup ön test-son test zayıf deneysel desen yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Nitel verileri elde etmek için ise durum çalışması yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Uygulamanın nicel verilerinin elde edilmesi aşamasında, uygulama sürecine katılan tüm öğretmen adayları (N=90) araştırmaya dâhil edilmiştir. Nitel verilerin toplanma sürecinde ise deney grubunda yer alan öğretmen adaylarından toplam 6 öğretmen adayı seçilmiş ve bu öğretmen adayları ile odak görüşme gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak; ölçme ve değerlendirme okuryazarlığı ölçeği, ölçme ve değerlendirme dersine yönelik tutum ölçeği, alan başarı testi, öğrenci ürün dosyaları ve odak görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Nicel veriler, SPSS 16 istatistik analiz programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Nicel verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistik teknikleri, bağımsız gruplar t-testi, bağımlı gruplar t-testi, Mann Whitney U- testi, karışık ölçümler için etki faktörlü ANOVA testi kullanılmıştır ve anlamlılık düzeyi .05 kabul edilmiştir. Nitel verilerin çözümlenmesi için ise betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen nicel sonuçlar, deney ve kontrol gruplarının ön test ölçme ve değerlendirme okuryazarlığı ölçeği, ölçme ve değerlendirme dersine yönelik tutum ölçeği ve başarı testi puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı farklılığın olmadığını göstermiştir. Yedi haftalık uygulama süreci sonunda yapılan okuryazarlık ve tutum ölçeklerinden alınan son test puan ortalamaları ile ön test puan ortalamaları arasında ise, deney grubu lehine anlamlı şekilde farklılık gösterdiği bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, deney grubuna uygulanan `Madde ve Değişim` öğrenme alanına ilişkin başarı testinin ön test puanları ile son test puan ortalamaları arasından anlamlı farklılığın olduğu belirlenmiştir. Nitel verilerin analiz sonuçları, öğretmen adaylarının uygulamanın yürütüldüğü öğretim sürecine ve ders içerisinde kullanılan öğretim yöntemine ilişkin görüşlerinin birkaç noktada birleştiğini göstermiştir. Öğretmen adayları ile yapılan odak görüşme, hem nicel sonuçların nedenini açıklamış hem de öğretim sürecinde uygulanan yöntemin hizmet etme derecesine ilişkin ayrıntılar vermiştir. Sonuç olarak, alan ile ilişkilendirilmiş uygulamalı ölçme ve değerlendirme dersinin, öğretmen adaylarının ölçme ve değerlendirme okuryazarlığını geliştirdiği, ölçme ve değerlendirme dersine yönelik olumlu tutum sergilemelerini sağladığı ve alan bilgilerini artırdığı belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca, uygulamalı etkinliklerin öğretmen adaylarını memnun ettiği, öğretmenlik mesleğinini benimsemelerine yardımcı olduğu, kalıcı öğrenmenin gerçekleştiği görüşmeler sonucunda ortaya çıkmıştır. Doktora tez çalışmasının ortaya koyduğu sonuçlar, alan ile ilişkilendirilmiş ölçme-değerlendirme uygulamalarının, öğretmen adaylarının ölçme-değerlendirme alanındaki bilgi, beceri ve tutumlarına olumlu yönde bir katkı sağladığına işaret etmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına dayandırılarak, öğretim elemanlarına sadece kuramsal veya sadece uygulamalı yöntemlerden oluşan bir öğretimden daha ziyade, ikisinin zaman dilimi yönünden dengelendiği ölçme ve değerlendirme derslerinin yürütülmesine ilişkin önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the course of practical assessment and evaluation which is associated with the field on the literacy levels of assessment and evaluation and content knowledge of teacher candidates, and their attitudes towards assessment and evaluation course. Another purpose of this study is to reveal the attitudes of the experimental group teacher candidates, who are studying the course of practical assessment and evaluation, towards teaching process, teaching methods, and teaching activities used in the teaching process. The quantitative aspects of this study was conducted on a total of 90 science teacher candidates, as experimental group (N=45) and control group (N=45), who are juniors at Elementary School Science Tutoring Department of Adıyaman University Faculty of Education in 2013-2014 academic year spring semester. The qualitative aspect was conducted on 6 teacher candidates included in the experimental group. Known as mixed method, the research model, in which both quantitative and qualitative research methods were drawn upon, was used in the study. In order to collect the quantitative data, pretest-posttest experimental design with control group and one group pretest-posttest design were used in the study. In order to collect the qualitative data, the case study method was used. All teacher candidates (N=90) involved in the implementation process was included in the study at the stage of obtaining the quantitative data of the implementation. In the qualitative data collection process, a total of 6 teacher candidates were selected and a focus group was conducted with these teacher candidates. Scale of assessment and evaluation literacy, scale of attitude towards assessment and evaluation, field achievement test, student product file and focus group were used as data collection means in the study. Quantitative data were analysed by using SPSS 16 statistical analysis program. Descriptive statistical techniques, independent samples t-test, two-way Mann Whitney U- test, ANOVA test for complex measures were used in qualitative data analysis, and the significance level was accepted as 0.5. Descriptive analysis method was used to analyse the qualitative data. The quantitative results obtained from the study showed that there is no significant difference among the scale of pre-test assessment and evaluation literacy, the scale of attitude towards the course of assessment and evaluation and the average field achievement test scores of the experimental groups. At the end of the seven-week implementation process, a significant difference was found in favour of the experimental group between the average post-test scores taken from the scales performed and the average pre-test scores. In addition, it was found that there is a significant difference between the average pre-test scores and the post-test scores of the achievement test related to `Matter and Change` learning area which was applied to the experimental group. The results of the qualitative data analysis showed that the opinions of the candidate teachers related to the teaching process in which the implementation is carried out and the teaching methods used in the course converged on several points. The focus group carried out with the teacher candidates both revealed the reason for the qualitative results and gave details regarding the serving level of the method used in the teaching process. As a result, it was seen that the course of practical assessment and evaluation which is associated with the field improves the assessment and evaluation literacy of the candidate teachers, ensures the positive attitudes by them towards the course of assessment and evaluation and increases their content knowledge. Furthermore, it has come in view after the interviews that the practical activities please the teacher candidates, help them adopt the teaching profession and bring about the permanent learning. The results revealed by the PhD thesis indicated that the assessment-evaluation implementations associated with the content make a positive contribution to the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the candidate teachers in the content of assessment-evaluation. Based on the study results, it was recommended that the courses of assessment and evaluation be conducted by the academic staff in a way to balance theoretical and practical methods in terms of their periods, rather than the methods comprised of only practical or theoretical methods.
