This study was carried out in Mogan Lake, during the breeding period of fish species between January and May 2013. Mogan Lake is an important recreational and fishing area, situated at the South of Ankara. The water quality parameters of: temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, total dissolved solids, salinity, alkalinity, bromine, copper, zinc, iron, floride, phosphate, calcium, chloride, chromium, magnesium, manganese, nitrite, nitrate, nickel, potassium, sulphate and total hardness were analyzed at Mogan Lake. At the same time the economic fish species Cyprinus carpio, Carassius carassius, Tinca tinca and Esox lucius were captured. Blood were sampled for the determination of hematocrit (%) levels. Genotoxic effects were investigated by using the micronucleus test. VTG protein presence were also studied by the SDS-Page electrophoresis method. Gonad, gill, muscle, kidney, liver and peritonium tissues were examined histologically. Hematocrit levels were determined as 29.94%, 23,67%, 26.56%, 32.98% on C. carpio, C. carassius, T. tinca and E. lucius, respectively. Erythrocyte micronucleus test results showed 1,7475 ± 0,3813 on, C. carpio, 2,223±0,1857 on C. carassius 3,335±0,1934 on T. tinca and 1,402±0,1094 on E. lucius. Electrophoretic mobility of VTG proteins were not only determined in females but also in males during the breeding period. After histological examination; branchitis, hyperemia, epitelial lifting and fusion on the secondary lamella of gill tissues, hydropic degeneration and passive hyperemia on liver tissues, hemorrhage on kidney tissues, oophoritis and seperation of the basal membrane on ovarium tissues, degeneration of testis tissue, peritonitis on peritonium on the intestine. The biological assay tests employed in this study showed them to be good bioindicators on investigation of impacts on water systems and the results of the tests were further supported by each other.

Bu çalışma, Ankara'nın güneyinde bulunan, şehir için önemli balıkçılık ve rekreasyon alanı olan Mogan Gölü'nde balıkların üreme dönemine rastlayan 2013 yılı Ocak-Mayıs ayları arasında yapılmıştır. Mogan Gölü'nde su kalite parametreleri sıcaklık, pH, çözünmüş oksijen, basınç, elektriksel iletkenlik, toplam çözünmüş katı madde, salinite, alkanite, brom, bakır, çinko, demir, flor, fosfat, kalsiyum, klor, krom, magnezyum, mangan, nitrit, nitrat, nikel, potasyum, sülfat ve toplam sertlik ölçülmüştür. Aynı zamanda gölden ekonomik öneme sahip Cyprinus carpio, Carassius carassius, Tinca tinca ve Esox lucius türleri avlanmıştır. Bu avlanan türlerden kan örneği alınarak hematokrit seviyeleri saptanmış ve periferal eritrosit mikronükleus testi ile genotoksik etki incelenmiştir. Ayrıca kan plazmasında elektroforetik olarak vitellogenin proteini varlığına bakılmıştır. Aynı türlerden diseksiyon ile gonad, solungaç, kas, böbrek ve periton doku örnekleri histolojik olarak incelenmiştir. Hematokrit düzeyleri C. carpio'da %29,94, C. carassius'ta %23,67, T. tinca'da %26,56 ve E. lucius'ta %32,98 tespit edilmiştir. Eritrosit mikronükleus değerleri C. carpio'da 1,7475±0,3813, C. carassius'da 2,223±0,1857, T. tinca'da 3,335±0,1934 ve E. lucius'da 1,402±0,1094 olarak belirlenmiştir. Elektroforetik vitellogenin deneyi sonucunda vitellogenin proteini yalnız üreme dönemindeki dişilerde değil, erkek bireylerde de saptanmıştır. Histopatolojik inceleme sonucunda ise balıklarda solungaçlarda branşitis, hiperemi, epitelial ayrılma, füzyon; karaciğerde hidropik dejenerasyon ve pasif hiperemi; böbreklerde hemoraji; ovaryumlarda ooforitis, bazal membran ayrılması; testislerde dejenerasyon, siyonitik atrofitis, boşalma; peritonda peritonit görülmüştür. Göl ortamındaki çeşitli kirleticilerin yarattığı etkilerin incelenmesinde bu çalışmada kullanılan testlerin iyi birer biyobelirteç olduğu ve sonuçlarının da birbirini destekler nitelikte olduğu saptanmıştır.
