In this study the correlations between obsessive compulsive symptoms, anxiety sensitivity and childhood depression and also obsessive compulsive symptoms mediator role on anxiety sensitivity and childhood depression are examined.The relational screening model has been used in this study. The relational screening models are the studies in which two or more variants' correlations are described and analyzed deeply. Intending for this study, structural equation model has been used to determine the correlations between anxiety sensitivity, childhood depression and anxiety disorder and obsesive compulsive symptoms. For chossing the study group convenience sampling method has been used. For this purpose, the study group of this research is consist of 436 students who study middle and high school which are all located in the city center of Erzurum. As data collecting tools, Reviewed Children Depression and Anxiety Scales(Short Version),Obsesive Compulsive Disorders Scales-Children Forms, Anxiety Sensitivity Scales for Children and Personal Information Forms have been used. According to the research results concerned findings are listed below.In the research; it is determined that Obsesive Compulsive Symptoms show meaningful differentiations according to age, sex, perceived parents styles and handedness. It is found that childhood show differentiations according to age, sex and perceived parents styles. As a result of structural equation model which was used to reveal the correlation between anxiety sensitivity, childhood depression and anxiety disorder and obsesive compulsive symptoms; it is determined that anxiety sensitivity is an important risk resource for OCS and OCS is for childhood depression and anxiety disorder and at the same time it is found that these three mentioned disorders are connected with each other and OCS has a mediator role for anxiety sensitivity, childhood depression and anxiety disorder.According to the findings of the research, it could be said that OCS and childhood depression show differentiations in terms of concerned variants and OCS is a significant risk factor for anxiety sensitivity, childhood depression and axiety disorder.

Bu araştırmada obsesif kompulsif belirtiler ile anksiyete duyarlılığı ve çocukluk depresyonu arasındaki ilişkiler ve obsesif kompulsif belirtilerin anksiyete duyarlılığı ile çocukluk depresyonu ve anksiyete bozukluğu üzerindeki aracı rolü incelenmiştir.Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. İlişkisel tarama modelleri iki ve daha fazla değişken arasındaki ilişkilerin betimlendiği ve derinlemesine analiz edildiği araştırmalardır. Buna yönelik olarak anksiyete duyarlılığı, çocukluk depresyonu ile anksiyete bozukluğu ve obsesif kompulsif belirtiler arasındaki ilişkileri belirlemek amacıyla da yapısal eşitlik modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubunun seçiminde ise uygun örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu amaçla araştırmanın çalışma grubunu ortaokul ve liselerde öğrenim görmekte olan 436 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Gözden Geçirilmiş Çocuk Depresyon ve Anksiyete Ölçeği-Kısa Versiyonu, OKB Ölçeği Çocuk Formu, Çocuklar için Anksiyete Duyarlık Ölçeği ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre ilgili bulgular aşağıda belirtilmiştir.Araştırmada; obsesif kompulsif belirtilerin yaş, cinsiyet, algılanan ebeveynlik biçimleri ve el tercihi değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılaşmalar gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Çocukluk depresyonunun da yaş, cinsiyet ve algılanan ebeveynlik biçimlerine göre farklılaşmalar gösterdiği bulunmuştur. Anksiyete duyarlılığı, çocukluk depresyonu ile anksiyete bozukluğu ve obsesif kompulsif belirtiler arasındaki ilişkileri ortaya koymak amacıyla uygulanan yapısal eşitlik modeli sonucunda; anksiyete duyarlılığının obsesif kompulsif belirtiler için ve obsesif kompulsif belirtilerin de çocukluk depresyonu ve anksiyete bozukluğu için önemli bir risk kaynağı olduğu tespit edilmiş, obsesif kompulsif belirtilerin anksiyete duyarlılığı, çocukluk depresyonu ve anksiyete bozukluğu için aracı bir role sahip olduğu ve bahsedilen rahatsızlıkların da birbiri ile ilişkili olduğu belirlenmiştir.Araştırmadan elde bulgular doğrultusunda, obsesif kompulsif belirtilerin anksiyete duyarlılığı ile çocukluk depresyonu ve anksiyete bozukluğu için önemli bir risk faktörü olduğu ve obsesif kompulsif belirtiler ile çocukluk depresyonunun ilgili değişkenlere göre farklılaşmalar gösterdiği söylenebilir.
