Abstract

Nowadays, it has become the main purpose for managements to meet expectations and demands of customers within a high level. Customer satisfaction is again in the center of developments about contemporary costing management and its implementations. Related about this subject, it is necessary that actions creating value should be developed and actions not creating value should be eliminated. When it is looked from this point of view, logistic activities have come into picture for managements as activities creating value and well administration of these kinds of activities will make huge contributions to business's profitability ratios.Logistic activities have been explained in detail and logistic activities realized in production business which is made as matter to activity-based costing management method and costs related to these activities were determined as study field. Logistic activities of a business operating in Osmaniye Organized Industrial Zone were determined and costs coming into picture because of these activities were separately calculated with using activity-based costing management method which is one of the advanced costing management methods. Günümüzde işletmeler için müşteri istek ve beklentilerinin en yüksek seviyede karşılanması temel amaç haline gelmiştir. Çağdaş maliyetleme yönetimi ve uygulamalarında yaşanan ilerlemelerin odağında yine müşteri tatmini vardır. Bu konuyla ilgili olarak, değer yaratan faaliyetlerin geliştirilmesi, değer yaratmayan faaliyetlerin ise ortadan kaldırılması gerekmektedir. Bu açıdan bakıldığında lojistik faaliyetler işletmeler için değer yaratan faaliyetler olarak öne çıkmış olup; iyi yönetilmesi işletmelerin karlılık oranlarına ciddi oranda katkı sağlayacaktır.Bu çalışmada lojistik faaliyetler detaylıca açıklanmış; uygulama kısmında ise Faaliyet Tabanlı Maliyetleme yöntemine konu bir üretim işletmesinde gerçekleşen lojistik faaliyetler ve bu faaliyetlere ilişkin maliyetler çalışma alanı olarak belirlenmiştir. Osmaniye Organize Sanayi Bölgesinde faaliyet gösteren bir işletmenin, lojistik faaliyetleri belirlenmiş ve bu faaliyetler sonucunda oluşan maliyetler ileri maliyetleme yöntemlerinden Faaliyet Tabanlı Maliyetleme yöntemi yoluyla ürünler bazında ayrı ayrı hesaplanmıştır.
