This work was carried out to determine the effectiveness of the untreated bush, which can be used in limited quantities, in quail rations due to the anti nutritional factors involved in the preparation of poultry feeds. 180 Japanse quails (Coturnix coturnix japonica)were used in yhe experiment for 1 day. The groups, that were fed with basic ration (%) without verch (Vicia ervilia L.) constituded the control group, and the groups with 8% and 12% of the vetch rations formed the treatment groups. The groups were created by chance, and no distiction was made between males and females. Each groupshas 3 repetitons and there are 15 chicks in each group. Feeds and water were given free to the groups, no light restriction was made, and the experiment lasted 42 days. At the end of the trial, the effect on the cigarette weight gain, feed utilization rate, carcass parameters, abdominal fat ratio, plasma cholesterol, triglyceride, LDL, plasma total protein level, heart weight and bezel gastrict pH levels were determined. As a result; 12% of the rats had an increase in feed consumption, rations had no effect on mortality due to rash concentration, no significant difference in feed utilization rate and live weight gain (p˂0.05). The difference between the groups in terms of cold and hot carcass yield was significant (p˃0.05).Blood parameters with other digestive organs were not affected (p˃0.05). In the quail rations, the safety margin of the vetch seed cocentrate was found to be %12.

Bu çalışma kanatlı yemlerinin hazırlanmasında ihtiva ettiği antinutrisyonel faktörler nedeniyle, sınırlı miktarda kullanılabilen işlem görmemiş burçağın bıldırcın rasyonlarındaki etkinliğini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Denemede 1 günlük yaştaki 180 adet Japon bıldırcını (Coturnix coturnix japonica) kullanılmıştır. Denemede burçak (Vicia ervilia L.) içermeyen (%0) temel rasyonla beslenen grup kontrol grubunu oluştururken, burçak rasyonlara % 8, 10 ve 12 oranlarında katıldığı gruplar, muamele gruplarını oluşturmuştur. Gruplar tesadüfi olarak oluşturulmuş olup dişi erkek ayrımı yapılmamıştır. Her grup 3 tekerrürlü olup, gruplarda 15 er civciv mevcuttur. Gruplara yem ve su serbest olarak verilmiş, ışık kısıtlaması yapılmamış ve deneme 42 gün sürmüştür. Deneme sonu itibariyle rasyonlara farklı düzeylerde katılan burçağın canlı ağırlık kazancı, yemden yararlanmı oranı, karkas parametreleri, abdominal yağ oranı, plazma kolesterol, trigliserid. LDL, plazma toplam protein düzeyi, kalp ağırlığı ve bezel mide pH düzeyleri üzerine etkisi tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak; burçak konsantrasyonunun %12 olduğu rasyonla beslenen bıldırcınlarda yem tüketiminin arttığı, gruplar arasında rasyonda burçak konsantrasyonuna bağlı olarak ölüm oranın etkilenmediği, yemden yararlanma oranında ve canlı ağırlık artışında önemli bir fark bulunmadığı (p˃0.05) tespit edilmiştir. Soğuk ve sıcak karkas randımanı bakımından gruplar arasındaki farklılık önemli (p˃0.05) bulunmuştur. Diğer sindirim organları ile kan parametreleri etkilenmemiştir. (p˃0.05). Bıldırcın rasyonlarında burçak tohumu konsantrasyonunun güvenli sınırının %12 olabileceği kanaatine varılmıştır.
