In this study, a series of novel 2-substituted-1,4-naphthoquinones were synthesized and evaluated for their antimicrobial activities. Nucleophilic substition reactions of 2,5,8-tribromo-1,4-naphthoquinone (24) were realized with related O- or S- nucleophiles in the presence of a base (K2CO3 or TEA) in yield of % 75-99 and 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 33, 34 were obtained. The structures of the compounds were confirmed by IR, 1 H NMR, 13C NMR, MS and elementel analysis. All this methods confirmed the structure of the compounds. The antimicrobial activity tests of the obtained compounds were examined agains P.vulgaris, B.subtilis, C.utilis, C.albicans, E.aerogenes, B.cereus, S.pyogenes using agar spot technique. According to the resulst obtained in these studies showed that all compounds don't have bacteriocidal effect and they have bacteriostatic effect on the organism.

Bu çalışmada, yeni 2-sübstitüe-1,4-naftakinon bileşikleri sentezlenmiş ve bu bileşiklerin antimikrobiyal aktiviteleri incelenmiştir. 2,5,8-Tribromo-1,4-naftakinon'un (24) nükleofilik yer değiştirme reaksiyonları karşılık gelen O- veya S- nükleofiliyle bir baz varlığında (K2CO3 ve TEA) gerçekleştirilmiş ve 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 33, 34 bileşikleri % 75-99 verimlerle elde edilmiştir. Sentezlenen bileşiklerin yapısı IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, Kütle ve Elementel Analiz ile aydınlatılmıştır. Yapılar tüm metotlar tarafından doğrulanmıştır. Elde edilen bileşiklerin antimikrobiyal aktivite testleri P.vulgaris, B.subtilis, C.utilis, C.albicans, E.aerogenes, B.cereus, S.pyogenes mikroorganizmalarına karşı agar spot metodu kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada elde edilen sonuçlara göre tüm organizmalar üzerinde bakteriyosidal değil bakteriyostatik etkiye sahiptir.
