Diagnosis of acute inflamattory demyelinating polyradiculopthy (AIDP) is based on clinical evaluation and electrophysiological analysis. Since AIDP is a treatable disease, accurate diagnosis is important in terms of prognosis of the disease. Conventional electrophysiological parameters are sometimes insufficient to correct diagnosis of the disease. For this reason, we've planned to investigate sensitivity and specificity of sensory nerve conduction parameters to diagnosis of AIDP. To this end, 34 patients diagnosed with CIDP from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology have been recruited the study. Control group is consisted of 25 healthy subjects without any neurological disorders.Take into consideration both of sensitivity and specificity, the best parameters for diagnosis of AIDP was F wave latency. Sensory nerves were more affected in upper extremities and there is a 'all or nothing' patern in lower extremities.Sensory nerve conduction parameters can help the diagnosis if considered with the sural sparing patern and abnormal upper extremity SNAP responses.

Akut inflamatuvar demyelinizan poliradikulonöropati klinik ve elektrofizyolojik yöntemle tanısı konan ve erken tanı ile tedavi edilebilir bir hastalıktır. Tedaviye yanıt olması nedeniyle hastalıkta doğru tanı önemlidir. Konvansiyonel elektrofizyolojik çalışmalar ve klinik bilgi ve bulgular bazen tanı için yetersiz kalabilmektedir. Bu nedenle duyu iletim çalışmalarının AIDP hastalarında tanı koymada özgünlük ve duyarlılığının araştırılması planlanmıştır.Bu çalışmada Gazi üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Nöroloji Anabilim Dalı Nöroloji polikliniğine başvuran klinik ve elektrofizyolojik olarak AIDP tanısı konulan 34 hasta ile 25 kişilik sağlıklı kontrol grubu değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak hem duyarlılık hem özgünlük beraber göz önünde bulundurulduğunda, AIDP tanısı için en iyi elektrofizyolojik parametrenin F latansı olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Duyu sinirlerinin üst ekstremitelerde daha belirgin tutulduğu, alt ekstremitede ise yap hep ya hiç kuralı ile etkilendiği gösterilmiştir. Duyu iletim çalışmaları sural korunma paterni, median ve ulnar sinirin BSAP amplitüdündeki düşme ile beraber değerlendirildiğinde tanı açısından motor iletim çalışmalarına katkı sağlayabilir.
