In this study, doctoral thesis at the Institute of Social Sciences at Istanbul Universityas prepared. This thesis investigated the subject, Vienna Sales Convention barriers to performance and results. Our thesis consists of three parts. The first section, the concept of barriers to performance, types, and suggests how barriers were carried out in different legal systems. In the second part, performed in Vienna Sales Convention creates obstacles and barriers to exercise concepts are emphasized. In the last chapter Vienna Sales Convention is explained by the consequences of barriers to performance. Due to the basic concepts of a new Convention for the Turkish legal system, and care was taken in front disclosures made. As a result, the Turkish Law lawyers and researchers who are new to this subject to be of interest, and hope to examine more.

Bu çalışma, İstanbul Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü'nde doktora tezi olarak hazırlanmıştır. Bu tez ile araştırılan konu, Viyana Satım Sözleşmesinde ifa engelleri ve sonuçlarıdır. Tezimiz üç kısımdan oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde, ifa engelleri kavramı, türleri ve farklı hukuk sistemlerinde ifa engellerinin ne şekilde anlaşıldığı incelenmiştir. İkinci kısımda, Viyana Satım Sözleşmesinde ifa engelleri ve ifa engellerini oluşturan kavramlar üzerinde durulmuştur. Son bölümde ise Viyana Satım Sözleşmesinde ifa engellerine bağlanan sonuçlar anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Sözleşmenin Türk Hukuk sistemi açısından yeni olması dolayısıyla temel kavramlar ve ön bilgilendirmeler yapılmaya özen gösterilmiştir. Sonuç olarak; Türk Hukukuna yeni olan bu konunun hukukçular ve araştırmacılar açısından ilgi çekici olmasını ve daha çok incelenmesini umuyoruz.
