In this study; 95 octane unleaded petrol and bioethanol supplied have been blended with gasoline in certain proportions and experiments have been made in a spark ignition engine. In this experimental study, unleaded gasoline and volume ethanol-gasoline mixtures were blended 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% ratios as volumetric, and they used as test fuels. Experimental study performed without any change on engine parameters at 2500 rpm and 5 different engine loads with these test fuels. Engine performance parameters (power, brake thermal efficiency, brake specific fuel consumption, brake specific energy consumption), exhaust gas temperature and exhaust emissions (HC, CO, CO2 and O2) changes were examined depending on gasoline-ethanol mixing ratios. In result of the experimental studies, it was determined that the consumption of brake specific fuel consumption, brake specific energy consumption, exhaust gas temperature, CO2 and O2 increased and the brake thermal efficiency, HC and CO emissions decreased.At the result of the study, maximum thermal efficiency was 16.08% at 2.5 Nm engine load for E0 fuel and at 15.80%, 15.71%, 15.43%, 15.28% and 14.92% at same engine load was calculated respectively for E2, E4, E6, E8 and E10 fuels. The maximum values for gasoline and gasoline-bioethanol blend fuels were 14.98%, 14.71%, 14.63%, 14.36%, 14.22% and 13.89% respectively. As a result of the analyzes, when all the torque values and all the fuels used in the experiments were examined, it was found that 2.5 Nm engine load and E0 fuel had higher thermal and exergy efficiency than other fuel samples.

Bu çalışmada; 95 oktan kurşunsuz benzin ve temini sağlanan biyoetanol hacimce belirli oranlarda benzin ile karışımları yapılarak buji ateşlemeli bir motorda test edilmiştir. Yapılan bu deneysel çalışmada kurşunsuz benzin ve hacimce %2, %4, %6, %8, %10 etanol-benzin karışımları oluşturulmuş ve test yakıtları olarak kullanılmıştır. Deneysel çalışmalar, bu test yakıtları ile motor parametrelerinde herhangi bir değişiklik yapılmadan 2500 d/d' da 5 farklı motor yükünde yapılmıştır. Benzin-etanol karışım oranlarına bağlı olarak, motor performans parametreleri (güç, fren termik verim, fren özgül yakıt tüketimi, fren özgül enerji tüketimi), egzoz gazı sıcaklığı ve egzoz emisyonlarındaki (HC, CO, CO2 ve O2) değişimler incelenmiştir. Deneysel çalışmalar sonucunda, karışım yakıtları için fren özgül yakıt tüketimi, fren özgül enerji tüketimi, egzoz gaz sıcaklığı, CO2 ve O2 emisyonu değerlerinde artış ve fren termik verimi, HC ve CO emisyonlarında ise azalma tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda maksimum termal verim E0 yakıtı için 2.5 Nm motor yükü değerinde %16.08 olarak, E2, E4, E6, E8 ve E10 yakıtları için ise aynı motor yükünde sırasıyla %15.80, %15.71, %15.43, %15.28 ve %14.92 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Ekserjetik verim değerleri ise benzin ve benzin-biyoetanol karışım yakıtlar için maksimum değerlerini 2.5 Nm motor yükü değerinde sırasıyla %14.98, %14.71, %14.63, %14.36, %14.22 ve %13.89 olarak elde edilmiştir. Analizler sonucunda tüm motor yükü değerleri ve deneylerde kullanılan tüm yakıtlar incelendiğinde, 2.5 Nm motor yükü değerinde; E0 yakıtının diğer yakıt numunelerine göre daha yüksek termal ve ekserjetik verime sahip olduğu görülmüştür.
