Ball, Locator, bar, magnetic and telescopic attachments are used with implant overdentures. Bar and ball types are the most frequently used attachments among them. Recently, silicon based materials have been utilised as matrix material and reported as delivering clinically successful results. The aim of this study was to compare the retention forces of silicon matrix materials (Retantion.sil 200/400/600, Mucopren Soft, GC Reline Soft) on ball, TiSi Snap, Hader/Dolder bar patrixes along with o-ring and metal matixes to ball patrixes and clip retainers to Hader bar before and after aging.Patrixes were attached to two parallel implant analogues embedded in a polyethylene block and matrix materials and parts were placed in heat polymerised acrylic blocks. A total of 230 samples were fabricated for 23 groups as 10 samples for each matrix/patrix assembly. Samples were subjected to fatigue test on an SD Mechatronik Chewing Simulator CS-4. As 5 insertion/removals were regarded as daily reference initial, 1st year (1825cycles) and 2nd year (3650cycles) retention forces were measured with an MTS 322 Test Frame machine.Eventually, all attachment systems showed loss of retention force after two years. When 5-7N of retention force is taken as reference for the stabilization of overdentures; all conventional matrix materials, TiSi Snap / bar patrixes with all silicone based materials (except for the 2nd year measurement of TiSi.snap/Retention.sil 200), while ball patrix only with retention.sil 600 have shown retention at reference level in all measured parameters.Keywords: Implant, soft liner, overdenture, vinylpolysiloxane, attachment systems.

İmplant üstü tam protezlerde top başlı, locator, bar, magnetik ve teleskopik tutucular kullanılmaktadır. Bar ve top başlı ataşmanlar bunların arasında en çok kullanılan ataşman tipleridir. Son zamanlarda silikon esaslı materyaller de implant üstü tam protezlerde matriks materyali olarak kullanılmaya başlanmış ve klinik olarak başarılı sonuçlar elde edildiği ortaya konulmuştur. Bu çalışmanın amacı top başlı, hader /dolder bar ve TiSi.snap patriksler üzerinde silikon esaslı matriks materyallerinin (Retention.Sil 200-400-600 , Mucopren Soft ve GC Reline Soft); ayrıca top başlı patriks üzerinde O-ring ve metal matrikslerin, hader bar üzerinde ise klip tutucunun yorma öncesi ve sonrası tutuculuk değerlerinin karşılaştırılmasıdır. Patrikslerin yerleştirileceği 2 adet implant analoğu birbirine paralel olacak şekilde polietilen blok içerisine, matriks materyaller ise sıcak akrilikten oluşturulan bloklar içerisine yerleştirilmiştir. Her bir matriks/patriks çifti için 10 örnek hazırlanmış olup, toplam 23 grupta 230 örnek elde edilmiştir. Örneklere SD Mechatronik Chewing Simulator CS-4 çiğneme simülatörü ile yorma testi uygulanmış, günlük 5 kez takıp-çıkarma değeri referans alınarak, başlangıç, 1. yıl (1825 siklus) ve 2. yıl (3650 siklus) periyodlarında MTS 322 Test Frame cihazı ile tutuculuk ölçümleri gerçekleştirilmiştir.Sonuç olarak tüm ataşman sistemlerinde 2. yılın sonunda tutuculuk kaybı olmuştur. Tam protez stabilizasyonu için 5-7 N değerleri referans alındığında; tüm geleneksel matriks materyalleri, Tisi.Snap / bar patriksler ile tüm silikon esaslı matriks materyaller (TiSi.snap/Retention.sil 200 2. yıl ölçümü hariç), top başlı patriks ile ise sadece Retention.sil 600 matriks materyali bütün ölçüm parametrelerinde referans değerlerinde tutuculuk göstermişlerdir.
