Purpose: In this study, it was aimed to determine the predictive relationships between emotional responsiveness and obsessive-compulsive symptoms and to investigate whether emotional regulation processes mediate the relationship between emotional responsiveness and obsessive-compulsive symptoms. Method: Descriptive survey model was used in the study. Descriptive survey model is the research pattern in which the relationship between two or more variables is analyzed in depth. In this direction, a structural equation model was used to determine predictive and mediating relationships between obsessive-compulsive symptoms, emotional regulation processes and emotional responsiveness. The target population of the research is high school students. In order to form the sample group in the research process, the study was carried out with a sample consisting of a total of 530 individuals by using cluster, proportional to size and appropriate sampling methods. OCD child form, emotional responsiveness scale and emotion regulation scale and personal information protocol were used as data collection tools in the study.Findings: In the study, it was determined that obsessive-compulsive symptoms in high school students significantly differ in terms of gender and school type variables, whereas they don't show a significant difference in terms of age variable. It was also found that emotional responsiveness predicts obsessive-compulsive symptoms negatively and at a significant level, and emotional regulation processes mediate the relationship between emotional responsiveness and obsessive-compulsive symptoms.Results: As a result, it was determined that emotional regulation skills mediate the relationship between OCD symptoms and emotional responsiveness, and that OCD symptoms in adolescents differ according to gender and school type. With reference to the obtained findings, it can be said that emotional responsiveness is an important protective variable in the emergence of OCD symptoms and that the emotional regulation skills shape the relationship between these two variables in an important way. In this context, it is thought that considering these findings in the planning and implementing preventive and rehabilitative practices would make the implementations more effective.

Amaç: Bu araştırmada duygusal tepkisellik ile obsesif kompulsif belirtiler arasındaki yordayıcı ilişkilerin belirlenmesi ve duygu düzenleme süreçlerinin duygusal tepkisellik ile obsesif kompulsif belirtiler üzerindeki ilişkiye aracılık edip etmediğinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. İlişkisel tarama modeli iki veya daha çok değişken arasındaki ilişkinin derinlemesine incelendiği araştırmalardır. Bu doğrultuda obsesif kompulsif belirtiler, duygu düzenleme süreçleri ve duygusal tepkisellik arasındaki ilişkileri yordayıcı ve aracılık ilişkilerini belirlemek amacıyla yapısal eşitlik modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın hedef evreni lise öğrencileridir. Araştırma sürecinde örneklem grubunu oluşturmak amacıyla bu evrenden küme, büyüklüğe orantılı ve uygun örnekleme yöntemleri kullanılarak toplam 530 kişiden oluşan bir örneklem ile araştırma süreci yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak OKB çocuk formu, duygusal tepkisellik ölçeği ve duygu düzenleme ölçeği ile kişisel bilgi formu kullanılmıştır.Bulgular: Araştırmada lise öğrencilerinde obsesif kompulsif belirtilerin cinsiyet ve öğrenim görülen okul türüne göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılaştığı buna karşın yaşa göre anlamlı bir farklılaşma göstermediği bulunmuştur. Ayrıca duygusal tepkiselliğin obsesif kompulsif belirtileri negatif yönde ve anlamlı düzeyde yordadığı ve duygusal düzenleme süreçlerinin duygusal tepkisellik ile obsesif kompulsif belirtiler arasındaki ilişkiye tam aracılık ettiği bulgulanmıştır. Sonuç: Sonuç olarak duygu düzenleme becerilerinin OKB ile duygusal tepkisellik arasındaki ilişkiye tam aracılık ettiği ve ergenlerde OKB'nin cinsiyet ve okul türüne göre farklılaştığı belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulardan hareketle OKB belirtilerinin ortaya çıkmasında duygusal tepkiselliğin önemli bir koruyucu değişken olduğu ve duygusal düzenleme becerilerinin bu iki değişken arasındaki ilişkiyi önemli oranda şekillendirdiği söylenebilir. Bu kapsamda önleyici ve rehabilite edici uygulamaların planlanması ve yürütülmesi noktasında elde edilen bu bulguların göz önünde bulundurulmasının uygulamaları daha etkili kılacağı düşünülmektedir.
