Purpose: In this study, it is aimed to elaborate the current situation of educational Augmented Reality workspace. For this purpose, document analysis was carried out to determine the use cases, methodological trends and outputs of the Augmented Reality studies. In this context, the study included 145 educational Augmented Reality studies published in indexed journals from Web of Science and ERIC databases.Method: In this study, content analysis method was used from qualitative research methods. It has been decided that the content analysis method is the most appropriate method for this study in order to ensure that the results that can be related to the studies on the use of Augmented Reality in education are obtained. In addition, the steps of document review were followed in the study. Findings obtained from the studies are presented numeric so that they can be interpreted and explained as a whole.Findings: Results showed that Augmented Reality studies in education were mostly carried out with short time applications on the axis of experimental designs from quantitative studies. Augmented Reality technologies have been incorporated into learning environments in combination with game-based learning and mobile learning approaches. Studies in the fields of Science and Engineering have been intensified. The sample group selected in the study was mostly undergraduate students. Quantitative data analysis methods are often used in the analysis of data collected by most scales and tests.Results: Augmented Reality technology has been the subject of much research on the effects of various variables in the field of education. In this case it can be concluded that the educational potential of the Augmented Reality technology is the curiosity of the researchers. This technology has been shown to have a positive effect on the many cognitive and emotional process variables. The increase in works after 2012 can be explained by spread of Augmented Reality. Augmented Reality studies have been seen more frequently in the field of science and engineering. In this case, it can be said that it may be more useful to include the Augmented Reality in these areas.Keywords:augmented reality, document review, content analysis.

Amaç: Bu çalışmada eğitsel Artırılmış Gerçeklik alanyazınının mevcut durumunun detaylı olarak ortaya koyulması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu amaçla Artırılmış Gerçeklik çalışmalarının kullanım durumlarının, yöntemsel eğilimlerinin ve çıktılarının belirlenebilmesi için doküman analizi yapılmıştır. Bu bağlamda çalışma kapsamında Web of Science ve ERIC veri tabanlarından indeksli dergilerde yayımlanmış 145 eğitsel Artırılmış Gerçeklik çalışması ele alınmıştır.Yöntem: Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Artırılmış Gerçeklik'in eğitimde kullanımları üzerine yapılan çalışmalardan ilişkiler kurabilecek sonuçlar elde edilebilmesini sağlamak için içerik analizi yönteminin bu çalışma için en uygun yöntem olduğuna karar verilmiştir. Ayrıca çalışmada doküman incelemesi adımları izlenmiştir. Çalışmalardan elde edilen bulgular bütüncül olarak yorumlanabilmesi ve açıklanabilmesi için sayısallaştırılarak sunulmuştur.Bulgular: Bulgular eğitimde Artırılmış Gerçeklik çalışmalarının daha çok nicel çalışmalardan deneysel desenler ekseninde kısa süreli uygulamalar ile yürütülmüş olduklarını göstermiştir. Artırılmış Gerçeklik teknolojileri daha çok oyun tabanlı öğrenme ve mobil öğrenme yaklaşımları ile birlikte öğrenme ortamlarına dâhil edilmiştir. Fen Bilimleri ve Mühendislik alanlarında çalışmaların yoğunlaştığı görülmüştür. Çalışmalarda seçilen örneklem grubunu ise genellikle lisans düzeyi öğrenciler oluşturmuştur. Çalışmaların çoğunda ölçekler ve testlerle toplanan verilerin analizinde genellikle nicel veri analiz yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Sonuç: Artırılmış Gerçeklik teknolojisinin eğitim alanında çeşitli değişkenlere olan etkilerinin en çok araştırılan konu olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Bu durumda Artırılmış Gerçeklik teknolojisinin eğitimdeki potansiyelinin araştırmacılar tarafından merak konusu olduğu sonucuna varılabilir. Bu teknolojinin birçok bilişsel ve duyuşsal sürece ait değişkene olumlu etki sağladığı görülmüştür. Yapılan çalışmaların 2012 yılından sonra artış göstermesi Artırılmış Gerçeklik'in yaygınlaşması ile açıklanabilir. Artırılmış Gerçeklik çalışmalarına fen bilimleri ve mühendislik alanında daha fazla başvurulduğu görülmüştür. Bu durumda Artırılmış Gerçeklik'in bu alanlarda yer almasının daha kullanışlı olabileceği söylenebilir.Anahtar Kelimeler:artırılmış gerçeklik, doküman incelemesi, içerik analizi.
