The purpose of this study is to search thoroughly if the childhood experiences of theteachers make a negative or positive effects on their attitudes and behaviours towardsundesirable behaviours in the classroom. The aim of the application is to contribute toboth educators and the literature. It is expected from this research to offer an idea for theteachers and create an outlook and awareness while evaluating students behaviours. Forthis reason, the scale was applicated with the simple random sampling method. InPendik-İstanbul with 268 primary ar secondary teachers. In this research, demographiccharacteristics like sex, professional experience, travmatic story, childhood background,being primary or secondary teacher and the relationship between the attitudes towardsundesireble behaviours of students ın the classroom, was tried to be observed. Theoutline of the research was enlarged with questions specified in sub-problems. SPSS15.0 programme was used in data analyzing. In conclusion, ıt was observed that theteachers having negative or positive childhood experiencess give behavioral reactions athigher level.

Bu çalışma ile öğretmenlerin, sınıf içi istenmeyen öğrenci davranışlarına yönelik tutumve davranışlarında, kendi çocukluk dönemi deneyimlerinin, olumlu ya da olumsuzetkisinin olup olmadığı araştırılmak istenmiştir. Uygulamanın amacı bu konuda hemeğitimcilere hem de literatüre katkı sağlamaktır. Araştırma sonucunun, öğretmenler içinbir fikir sunması, öğrenci davranışlarını değerlendirirken bir bakış açısı ve farkındalıkoluşturması beklenmektedir. Bu amaçla, İstanbul ili, Pendik ilçesinde görev yapmaktaolan 268 sınıf ya da branş öğretmeni ile seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemlerinden basitseçkisiz örnekleme yöntemi ile ölçek uygulaması yapılmıştır. Araştırmada cinsiyet,mesleki tecrübe, travmatik öykü, yetişme şekli, sınıf ya da branş olma durumu gibidemografik özellikler ve çocukluk deneyimleri ile sınıf içi istenmeyen öğrencidavranışlarına yönelik tutumlar arasında ilişki gözlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Altproblemlerde belirtilen sorular ile de araştırmanın alanı genişletilmiştir. Veri analizindeSPSS 15.0 programı kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak da olumsuz çocukluk deneyimlerinesahip öğretmenlerin davranışsal boyutta tepkilerinin daha yüksek düzeyde olduğuizlenmiştir.
