This study is a crosssectional descriptive study to determine the effects of urinary symptoms and incontinence on quality of life in postmenopausal women. The sample of the study consisted of 327 women aged 50-65 who applied to 12 Family Health Centers (ASM) between April 16 and July 30, 2018 in Bandırma district of Balıkesir province. Descriptive questionnaire form, Urinary Symptom Profile (USP) Questionnaire, Incontinence Quality of Life Scale (I-QOL) were used for data collection. In the analysis of the data, number, percentage, averages, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskall Wallis test, Scheffe test and Spearman correlation analysis were used. The mean age of the women participating in the study was 57,89 士 5,05. 50.5% of women (n = 165) had a history of incontinence. In postmenopausal women, the mean total USP score was 4.94 士 4.81, and 7.98 士 4.85 in women with a history of incontinence. The mean I-QOL total score was 87.09 士 16.04 for all women and 76.95 士 16.93 for women with a history of incontinence. Women with a history of incontinence had a high negative correlation between the SPP score and the I-QOL sum (r = -0,609; p = 0,000). According to the findings of the study, the presence of urinary symptoms in postmenopausal women adversely affects the quality of life.Women entering menopause risk factors that cause urinary problems should be evaluated, preventive treatment should be given and, if necessary, should be referred to the hospital for medical support.Key Words: Postmenopause, Woman, Urinary Incontinence, Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms, Quality of Life.

Çalışmanın ömeklemi, Balıkesir ili Bandırma ilçesinde 16 Nisan-30 Temmuz 2018 tarihleri arasında toplam 12 Aile Sağlığı Merkezine (ASM) başvuran 50-65 yaş aralığında bulunan 327 kadın oluşturmuştur. Verilerin toplanmasında tanımlayıcı anket formu, Üriner Semptom Profili Anketi (ÜSP)? Inkontinans Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği (I-QOL) kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde, sayı, yüzde, ortalamalar, Mann-Whitney U testi, Kruskall Wallis testi Scheffe testi ve Spearman korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmaya katılan kadınların yaş ortalaması 57,89±55055dir. Kadınların %50355inde (n=165) inkontinans öyküsü olduğu saptanmıştır. Postmenopozal kadınlarda ÜSP toplam puan ortalaması 4,94±4,81, inkontinans öyküsü olan kadınlarda ise 7598±45855dir. I-QOL toplam puan ortalaması tüm kadınlarda 87,09±16,04, inkontinans öyküsü olan kadınlarda ise 76595±165935dir. İnkontinans öyküsü olan kadınların ÜSP puanı ile I-QOL toplamı (尸-05609;p=05000) arasında negatif yönde yüksek düzeyde ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir ・ Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre postmenopozal kadınlarda üriner semptomların varlığı yaşam kalitesini olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Kadınların menopoza girmekle birlikte üriner sorunlara neden olan risk faktörleri değerlendirilmeli, koruyucu tedavi verilmeli ve gerektiği durumlarda tıbbı destek için hastaneye yönlendirilmelidir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Postmenopoz, Kadın, Üriner İnkontinans, Alt Üriner Sistem Semptomları, Yasam Kalitesi.
