Purpose of the study is to develop and to test the validity and reliability of twelve new scales to measure performance anxiety and self efficacy levels of opera singers, ballet dancers and theatre actors and conservatory students. It is aimed to contribute to the literature with this two scales.Population of the survey consists of staffed, contractual and professional 164 soloists, 379 choir singers and 237 ballet dancers in total, who work for the T.R. General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet in Ankara, Antalya, Istanbul, Izmir, Mersin and Samsun provinces, and 200 theatre actors working in the T.R. State Theatres, and the undergraduate students, who receive education in the performing arts departments of State/Private conservatories, which provide training for this purpose in Turkey,in 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 educational years, totally581 opera, 199 ballet and 615 theatre students. The researcher personally accessed to 1069 people in total, which consists of 401 artists as 158 opera singers, 115 ballet dancers, 128 theatre actors, and 668 students as 261 opera, 170 ballet and 237 theatre students, by taking all necessary permissions and the approval of the ethical committee, and the scales were applied by assuming that the participants provided sincere answers on a volunteer basis. During the data collection, seminars were organized by the researcher on the effect of the performance anxiety to the stage performance. Socio-demographic form, the scales that are designed for each artist and student section and prepared by taking expert opinion, and `Liebowitz Social Anxiety` scale for external validity, and `Self-Liking/Self-Competence` scale were used as data collection tools. As a result of the performed pilot, explanatory and confirmatory tests, twelve scales have been put into its final forms, this is a five point Likert type scale, and the test-retest method and external validity applications were made. Moreover, gender, age and service/class differences, performance anxiety and self- efficacy results were determined with difference tests within the context of demographic variables. Results were discussed, interpreted and recommendations were presented for researchers, educationalists, managers and consultants.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, opera, bale ve tiyatro sanatçıları ve konservatuar öğrencilerine yönelik oniki adet yeni sahne performans kaygısı ve öz yeterlilik ölçeği geliştirilerek geçerlilik ve güvenirlik analizlerinin yapılması, sahne sanatçıları ve öğrencilerinin bu yöndeki literatürüne katkı sağlanması olarak belirlenmiltir.Araştırmanın evrenini, Ankara, Antalya, İstanbul, İzmir, Mersin ve Samsun illerindeki TC. Devlet Opera ve Balesi Genel Müdürlüğüne bağlı, Devlet Opera ve Balesi Müdürlüklerinde görev yapman kadrolu ve sözleşmeli, profesyonel toplam 164 solist, 379 korist ve 237 bale sanatçısı ve TC. Devlet Tiyatrolarında görev yapan 200 tiyatro sanatçısı ile Türkiye'de bu yönde eğitim veren Devlet/Özel konservatuarlarındaki sahne sanatları, 581 opera, 199 bale ve 615 tiyatro bölümlerinde olmak üzere 2017-2018 ve 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında öğrenim gören lisans öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Yapılan çalışmada 158 opera, 115 bale, 128.tiyatro sanatçısı, 261 opera, 170bale 237tiyatro öğrencisi olmak üzere toplam 401 sanatçı, 668 öğrenci olmak üzere toplam 1069 kişiye araştırmacı tarafından , tüm gerekli izinler ve etik kurul onayı alınarak bizzat ulaşılmış ve gönüllülük esasına dayalı olarak samimi cevaplar verildiği var sayılarak ölçekler uygulanmıştır. Uygulamalar sırasında ayrıca, araştırmacı tarafından, sahne kaygısının, sahne performansına etkileri üzerine seminerler düzenlenmiştir.Veri toplama araçları olarak, sosyo demografik form, her sanatçı ve öğrenci bölümü için ayrı tasarlanıp uzman görüşü alınarak hazırlanan ölçekler, dış geçerlilik için Liebowitz `Sosyal Kaygı` ve `Kendini Sevme ve Öz Yeterlilik` ölçeği kullanılmıştır.Yapılan pilot, açıklayıcı ve doğrulayıcı testler sonucu on iki adet ölçek, beşli Likert tipi ölçek şeklindeki son haline getirilmiş, test tekrar test ve dış geçerlilik uygulamaları yapılmıştır. Ayrıca demografik değişkenler bağlamında cinsiyet, yaş ve hizmet/sınıf farklılıkları, performans kaygısı ve öz yeterlilik sonuçları fark testleri ile belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular tartışılmış, yorumlanmış ve araştırmacılara, eğitimci, yönetici ve danışmanlara yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur.
