Accurate cost determination and correct pricing of health services given in our country is critical for the continuity of the enterprises providing these services. The ability of managers to make accurate decisions about the services offered depends on accurate calculations and analysis. The accuracy of these calculations and analyzes requires a considerable amount of intensive and long processes due to the variety of services provided in most health facilities. That is why, in many health establishments, these analyzes are ignored and are usually not considered until earnings begin to decline.With this study, an exemplary application has been established for health enterprises providing oral health services. In this application, the unit costs of two-faceted filler, two-channel canal treatment, dental stone cleaning and unit costs of orthodontic treatments in a particular outpatient clinic were calculated by using traditional costing, activity-based costing (ABC) and time-based activity-based costing (TBABC) methods. The data needed for these calculations were observed in real time for one year and the managers and physicians were consulted at missing points. In this way, it is aimed to be able to reveal the costs that are close to the reality for both the sample business and the owners and dentists who will benefit from this study. As a result of the costing methods used, the results were compared with each other and with the price list of the Turkish Dental Association (TDA). The first one of the most noteworthy points in the results is that the unit costs calculated for orthodontics are higher than the price given by the TDA and the second is that the unit costs calculated by the TBABC method for all these treatments are lower than the other costing methods.

Ülkemizde verilen sağlık hizmetlerinin doğru bir şekilde maliyet tespitinin yapılması ve doğru fiyatlandırmaları konusu, bu hizmetleri veren işletmelerin devamlılığı açısından kritik öneme sahiptir. Yöneticilerin sunulan hizmetler hakkında isabetli kararlar verebilmeleri, doğru hesaplamalar ve analizlere bağlıdır. Bu hesaplama ve analizlerin doğruluğu ise, çoğu sağlık kuruluşunda verilen hizmetlerin çeşitliliği sebebiyle ciddi derecede yoğun ve uzun süreçler gerektirmektedir. Bu nedenledir ki pek çok sağlık işletmesinde bu analizler göz ardı edilir ve genellikle kazanç düşmeye başlayıncaya kadar gündeme gelmez. Bu çalışma ile ağız diş sağlığı hizmetleri sunan sağlık işletmeleri için örnek bir uygulama oluşturulmuştur. Bu uygulamada özel bir poliklinikte iki yüzlü dolgu, iki kanallı olan kanal tedavisi, diş taşı temizliği ve ortodonti tedavilerinin birim maliyetleri; geleneksel maliyetleme, faaliyet tabanlı maliyetleme (FTM) ve sürece dayalı faaliyet tabanlı maliyetleme (SDFTM) yöntemleri kullanılarak hesaplanmıştır. Bu hesaplamalar için gerekli veriler bir yıl boyunca gerçek zamanlı olarak gözlemlenmiş olup, eksik kalınan noktalarda yöneticiler ve hekimlerin bilgilerine başvurulmuştur. Böylelikle hem örnek işletme için hem de bu çalışmadan faydalanacak olan işletme sahipleri ve diş hekimleri için gerçeğe en yakın maliyetleri ortaya çıkarabilmek amaçlanmıştır. Kullanılan maliyetleme yöntemleri neticesinde ortaya çıkan sonuçlar hem birbirleriyle hem de Türk Diş Hekimleri Birliği (TDB)'nin fiyat listesiyle kıyaslanmıştır. Sonuçlarda en çok dikkat çeken noktalardan ilki ortodonti için hesaplanan birim maliyetlerin TDB'nin verdiği fiyatın çok üzerinde çıkması, ikincisi ise söz konusu tedavilerin hepsi için SDFTM yöntemiyle hesaplanan birim maliyetlerinin diğer maliyetleme yöntemlerinden daha düşük çıkmasıdır.
