Construction projects consist of mixed work items where several resources are combined to transform into one product at the same time. Some of the work items are short and some consist of long periods. Since the start and end stages of the construction projects take long periods of time, many data are produced and this data creates a heap of data after a certain period of time. Therefore, feedback is also difficult. Considering this complex and dynamic structure of construction projects, construction projects are very difficult to implement. In addition, unforeseen events can be seen and these events; There are deviations from the planned duration of the project, its projected cost and the desired quality targets. Construction projects need to be effectively managed in order to minimize deviations from time, cost and quality targets. For this, the project must have a planning and control system. The control system can only be made based on the experience and the data of the works done.In order for the construction management to become efficient, the activities within the scope of the project should be monitored constantly and regularly. For this, the data in the worksite book maintained on the site is of great importance. This data helps us understand how to make significant deviations from the planned status. In addition, the presence of recorded data in the event of a dispute helps solve the problem.It is imperative to keep the data of completed and ongoing work items for construction management. When data is randomly recorded, they become irregular, scattered, ineffective masses. It is important for the construction management to process, collect and report the collected data. The aim of this thesis is to create a tool to make construction data more useful and to shed light on the future of time on cost, quality and efficiency from project objectives. In addition, the flexibility of being able to apply the information contained in the worksite books to all kinds of projects is also intended to be included in this study.In this thesis, by the using the Power Pivot, Power Query, Power View and Power Map plug-ins in MS Excel, the data can be processed and used to be more meaningful. It is advantageous to obtain the necessary information in the short term within the scope of the project by means of Business Intelligence method. In the case study, it has been shown how business intelligence can be implemented in a small wall construction project. Based on this example, it is considered that multidimensional reporting can be made in projects with big data. In later studies, it is evaluated that business intelligence and statistical modeling techniques can be combined to form decision support systems for managers.

İnşaat projeleri, birçok kaynağın aynı anda bir ürün haline dönüştürmek için bir araya getirildiği karışık iş kalemlerinden oluşmaktadır. İş kalemlerinin bazıları kısa bazıları ise uzun sürelerden meydana gelir. İnşaat projelerinin başlama ve bitiş aşamaları uzun süreler alması sebebiyle birçok veri üretilmekte ve bu veriler belli bir zaman sonra veri yığınları oluşturmaktadır. Bu sebeple geri besleme de güçleşmektedir. İnşaat projelerinin bu karmaşık ve dinamik yapısı düşünüldüğünde, inşaat projelerinin yürütülmesi çok zor olmaktadır. Ayrıca öngörülemeyen olaylar da görülmekte ve bu olaylar; projenin planlanan süresinden, öngörülen maliyetinden ve istenilen kalite hedeflerinden sapmalar meydana gelmesine neden olmaktadır. İnşaat projelerinin süre, maliyet ve kalite hedeflerinden sapmaları en aza indirebilmek için etkin bir biçimde yönetilmeleri gerekmektedir. Bunun için ise projede, planlama ve kontrol sistemi olmalıdır. Kontrol sistemi ise ancak deneyimlerden ve yapılan işlerin verilerinden yola çıkılarak yapılabilir.İnşaat yönetiminin verimli hale gelmesi için proje kapsamındaki aktivitelerin devamlı ve düzenli olarak takip edilmesi gerekmektedir. Bunun için şantiyede tutulan şantiye defterinde bulunan veriler çok büyük öneme sahiptir. Bu verileri anlamlı hale getirmek planlanan durumlardan ne kadar sapma olduğunu anlamamıza yardımcı olmaktadır. Ayrıca bir anlaşmazlık durumunda kayıtlı verilerin olması problemin çözümüne yardımcı olmaktadır.İnşaat yönetimi için tamamlanmış ve devam eden iş kalemlerinin verilerinin tutulması zorunluluktur. Veriler gelişi güzel kaydedildiklerinde düzensiz, dağınık, etkili olmayan yığınlar haline gelirler. Toplanan verileri işleyerek, yararlanmak ve raporlanarak etkili hale getirmek inşaat yönetimi açısından önem arz etmektedir. Bu tezin amacı inşaatlarla ilgili verileri daha yararlı hale getirecek bir araç oluşturmak ve bu veriler sayesinde proje hedeflerinden süre, maliyet, kalite ve verimlilik hakkında geleceğe ışık tutmaktır. Ayrıca şantiye günlük defterlerinde bulunan bilgilerin her türlü projede uygulanabilme esnekliği konusunun da bu çalışma içerisinde yer alması da amaçlanmıştır.Bu tez çalışmasında MS Excel içerisindeki Power Pivot, Power Query, Power View ve Power Map eklentileri kullanılarak, verilerin işlenip kullanılabilir ve daha anlamlı hale geldiği görülmüştür. İş zekâsı yöntemi ile proje kapsamındaki konularda karar verme aşamalarında kısa süre içerisinde gerekli bilgilerin alınması avantaj sağlamaktadır. Vaka çalışmasında iş zekâsının ufak bir duvar inşaatı projesinde nasıl uygulanabileceği gösterilmiştir. Söz konusu örnekten yola çıkılarak, büyük veriye sahip projelerde çok boyutlu farklı raporlamalar da yapılabilir. Sonraki çalışmalarda iş zekâsı ile istatistiksel modelleme teknikleri birleştirilerek yöneticiler için karar destek sitemlerinin oluşturulabilir.
