This study was carried out to investigate the effect of inhalant drug use education on self-efficacy in three different ways to individuals with COPD. The research was designed quasi-experimental in the pre-test post-test. The study was divided into three groups and in each group, 40 patients were treated with 120 patients. The data were collected through face-to-face interviews with the patient identification form, the inhalation drug use charts and the COPD self-efficacy scale. Mean, percentage, chi-square, one-way analysis of variance, Kruskall Wallis and signed-rank test were used to evaluate the data. Before the training, the mean score of self-efficacy was shown. 2.13 ± 0.3 in the video-trained group; 2.14 ± 0.3 and sample training material. While 2.15 ± 0.3, self-efficacy scores increased in all three groups after the training. 2.79 ± 0.2 in the video-trained group; 2.87 ± 0.3 and sample training material. 2.84 ± 0.2. When the mean and sub-dimensions of the COPD Self-Efficacy Scale were compared between the groups before and after the training, it was found that the increase in the self-efficacy total scores and the increase in the sub-dimension mean were statistically significant in all three groups (p <0.05). There was no significant difference between the groups given the education with the self-efficacy score of COPD (GVE), the training given with video (VYE) and the sample education and education (ÖEM) groups (p> 0.05). it was found that the mean score was for the users of MDI (Training shown: 5.8 ± 1.6, training with video: 5.1 ± 1.1, training with sample training material: 5.0 ± 1.1). After the training, it was found that there was a significant increase in the mean scores of MDI skills (p <0.05). It has been shown that inhaler drug use education given to individuals with COPD in three different ways has a positive effect on increasing the self-efficacy averages.Keywords: COPD, Inhaler Drug Education, Self-Efficacy.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Kronik Obstrüktif Akciğer Hastalığı (KOAH) olan bireylere üç farklı yolla verilen inhaler ilaç kullanımı eğitiminin öz-etkililiğe etkisini araştırmaktır. Araştırma ön test son test düzeninde yarı deneysel olarak tasarlanmıştır. Araştırma üç gruba ayrılmış, her grupta 40'ar hasta olmak üzere, toplam 120 hasta ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırma verilerinin toplanmasında ''Hasta tanıtım formu'', ''İnhaler İlaç Beceri Listeleri'' ve ''KOAH Öz-Etkililik Ölçeği'' ile toplanmıştır. Veriler değerlendirilirken ortalama, yüzde, kikare, tek yönlü varyans analizi, Kruskall Wallis ve işaretli sıralar testi kullanıldı. Eğitim öncesi öz-etkililik puan ortalaması göstererek eğitim verilen grupta 2.13±0.3, video ile eğitim verilen grupta 2.14±0.3 ve örnek eğitim materyaliyle eğitim verilen grupta 2.15±0.3 iken, eğitim sonrası her üç grupta da öz-etkililik puanlarında artış görülmektedir, göstererek eğitim verilen grupta 2.79±0.2, video ile eğitim verilen grupta 2.87±0.3 ve örnek eğitim materyaliyle eğitim verilen grupta 2.84±0.2 şeklindedir. Eğitim öncesi ve sonrası gruplararası KOAH Öz-etkililik ölçek toplam ve alt boyutları ortalamaları karşılaştırıldığında her üç grupta da eğitim sonrası öz-etkililik toplam puanı ve alt boyut ortalamasındaki artışın istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu saptanmıştır (p<0.05). Göstererek (GVE), video (VYE) ve örnek eğitim materyali ile (ÖEM) eğitim verilme durumuna göre gruplararasında KOAH öz-etkililik puanında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı değişim olmadığı belirlenmiştir (p>0.05). Eğitim öncesi ve sonrası inhaler ilaç puan ortalamaları karşılaştırıldığında en düşük puan ortalamasının ÖDİ kullanıcılarına ait olduğu bulunmuştur (Göstererek verilen eğitim: 5.8±1.6, video ile verilen eğitim: 5.1±1.1, örnek eğitim materyali ile verilen eğitim: 5.0±1.1). Eğitim sonrasında ÖDİ beceri puan ortalamasında anlamlı derecede artış olduğu saptanmıştır (p<0.05). KOAH'lı bireylere üç farklı yolla verilen inhaler ilaç kullanım eğitiminin öz-etkililiği arttırdığı ancak eğitim yolları arasında fark olmadığı saptanmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: KOAH, İnhaler İlaç Eğitimi, Öz-etkililik.
