The purpose of this study is to compare study of the effect of resin-based restorative materials on the surface roughness and color change of the liquids at different pH values. Five different resin-based restorative materials (Filtek ™ Z550, BEAUTIFIL® II, Vertise ™ Flow, Dyract® XP, and GC Fuji II LC®) with different monomer and filler contents were used in the study (A2). A total of 250 specimens, 50 for each material group, were prepared using a mold with a diameter of 10 mm and a thickness of 2 mm. The samples were divided into 5 groups consisting of 10 samples per group to be placed in five different pH liquids (cola, orange juice, kefir, gastric acid and artificial saliva). Initial color and roughness measurements of all prepared samples were made. After being kept in the presence of 100% humidity at 37°C for 7 and 14 days in the beverages, the color and roughness measurement was repeated at this time. As the parametric test assumptions are fulfilled in assessing surface roughness, (Kolmogorov-Simirnov) analysis of Variance, Tukey test; as the parametric test assumptions were not fulfilled in assessing color difference Kruskall-Wallis test, Mann-Whitney U test; Variance analysis and Bonferroni test in repeated measures; correlation analysis was applied to test the relationship between color change and roughness values and the error level was taken as 0.05. When the average roughness values (Ra) are examined; the highest values were in Fuji II LC and the lowest values were in Filtek Z550 (p<0.05), and that the liquid which had the greatest effect on ΔRa was gastric acid and orange and showed a statistically significant difference (p<0.05) with kefir and saliva. When the color change results are examined; the color change (ΔE) is mostly at Fuji II LC; at least in Filtek Z550, cola and gastric acid had the greatest effect on ΔE averages and significant difference (p<0.05).

Bu çalışmanın amacı; rezin esaslı restoratif materyallerin farklı pH değerlerindeki sıvılarda bekletilmesinin, yüzey pürüzlülüğüne ve renk değişimlerine etkilerini karşılaştırmalı olarak incelemektir.Çalışmada aynı renkte (A2), farklı monomer ve doldurucu içeriklerine sahip 5 farklı rezin esaslı restoratif materyal (Filtek™ Z550, BEAUTIFIL® II, Vertise™ Flow, Dyract® XP, GC Fuji II LC®) kullanıldı. Her bir materyal grubu için 50 adet olmak üzere toplamda 250 örnek, 10 mm çap ve 2 mm kalınlıkta bir kalıp kullanılarak hazırlandı. Örnekler beş farklı pH'daki sıvıya (kola, portakal suyu, kefir, gastrik asit ve yapay tükürük) konulmak üzere her bir grup 10 adet örnekten oluşacak şekilde 5 gruba ayrıldı. Hazırlanan tüm örneklerin, başlangıç renk ve pürüzlülük ölçümleri sonrası, belirlenen sıvılarda 37℃'de %100 nem varlığında, 7 ve 14 gün süre ile bekletildikten sonra, renk ve pürüzlülük ölçümleri bu zamanlarda tekrarlandı. Yüzey pürüzlülüğünün değerlendirilmesinde parametrik test varsayımları yerine getirildiğinden (Kolmogorov-Simirnov) Varyans analizi, Tukey testi, renk farklılığının değerlendirilmesinde parametrik test varsayımları yerine getirilmediğinden Kuruskall-Wallis testi, Mann-Whitney U testi, tekrarlı ölçümlerde Varyans analizi, Bonferroni testi, renk değişimi ve pürüzlülük değerleri arasındaki ilişkiyi test etmek için korelasyon analizi uygulandı ve yanılma düzeyi 0.05 alındı.Ortalama pürüzlülük değerleri (Ra) incelendiğinde; en yüksek değerlerin Fuji II LC'de en düşük değerlerin ise Filtek Z550'de olduğu (p<0.05), ΔRa ortalamasını en çok etkileyen sıvının gastrik asit ve portakal suyu olduğu ve kefir ile tükürüğe göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği tespit edildi (p<0.05). Renk değişimi sonuçları incelendiğinde; renk değişiminin (ΔE) en fazla Fuji II LC'de; en az ise Filtek Z550'de olduğu, kola ve gastrik asitin, ΔE ortalamasını en çok etkilediği ve anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği tespit edildi (p<0.05).
