Amaç: Çalışmanın amacı elektronik spor oyuncularında boyun ağrısı ve bu ağrının postural kontrol üzerine etkilerinin araştırılmasıdır.Yöntem: Çalışmamız, randomize seçilmiş 20 kişiden oluşan sağlıklı bireyler (kontrol grubu) ve 20 kişiden oluşan elektronik sporcular (deney grubu) olmak üzere toplamda 40 kişi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bütün katılımcılara İskandinav Kas ve İskelet Sistemi Anketi, Boyun Özürlülük İndeksi ve Visuel Analog Skala ile değerlendirilmiş, CROM VE Biodex Denge Sistemi (BBS) ile ölçümleri yapılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar kaydedilmiştir. Toplamda 40 katılımcı çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir.Sonuçlar: Gruplar arasında boy uzunluğu hariç istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmamaktadır (p> .05). Deney grubunun boyu kontrol grubuna göre daha uzundur. Bilgisayar başında ve oturularak geçirilen ortalama süre deney grubunda fazla iken yürüyerek geçirilen ortalama süre kontrol grubunda deney grubuna göre fazladır. Statik Postural Kontrol parametreleri incelendiğinde gözler açık ölçümlerin tümü gruplar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklara sahipken (p<0,01; p<0,001), gözler kapalı ölçümlerin tümü gruplar arasında farklılaşmamaktadır (p<0,05). Gözler açık statik pozisyondaki genel (OSI), Anteroposterior (API) ve Mediolateral (MLI) parametrelerin tümü deney grubunda kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı derecede yüksektir. Dinamik Postural Kontrol parametresi açısından deney ve kontrol grubu arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmaktadır(p<0,001). Kontrol grubu deney grubuna göre daha yüksek Dinamik Postural ölçümlere sahiptir. Sonuçlara göre toplam boyun özürlülük skoru açısından gruplar arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamaktadır (p>0,05). İskandinav Kas İskelet ölçeğine göre Son 12 ayda sorun yaşanan bölgeler incelendiğinde deney grubunda boyun (Yüzde 70), Bel (Yüzde 75) ve Sırt (Yüzde 65) en yüksek ağrı görünen bölgelerken, Kontrol grubunda Bel (Yüzde 60), Sırt (Yüzde 50) en yüksek ağrı görünen bölgelerdir. Son 12 ayda herhangi bir bölgenin kişiyi engellemesi sorgulandığında Her iki grupta da genelde herhangi bir sorun yaşanmadığı sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır. Son 7 günde bölgelerde ağrı olma durumu incelendiğinde Deney grubunda boyun bölgesi yüzde 55 ile öne çıkmaktadır. Son 12 ayda sorun yaşanan ve son 7 günde sorun yaşanan bölge sayısı ortalaması deney grubunda kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı düzeyde yüksek bulunmuştur (p<0,05; p>0,001). Gruplar CROM parametreleri açısından incelendiğinde Fleksiyon, Ekstansiyon, Sağ ve Sol Lateral Fleksiyon ölçümleri açısından anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmazken (p<0,05) Sağ Rotasyon ve Sol rotasyon değerleri açısından gruplar farklılaşmaktadır (p<0,01). Kontrol grubu, deney grubuna göre daha yüksek ortalama ölçüm değerlerine sahiptir. Vizual AnalogviSkala değerleri açısından gruplar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmaktadır (p<0,01). Buna göre Deney grubunun ortalama VAS skoru, kontrol grubuna göre daha yüksektir. Son 12 ayda boyun ağrısı yaşayan deney ve kontrol grubu arasında gözler açıkken ölçümlenen Genel, Anteroposterior ve Mediolateral Statik Postural Kontrol parametreleri açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmaktadır (p<0,05). Tüm parametrelere ait ortalama değerler deney grubunda kontrol grubuna göre yüksektir. Son 12 ayda boyun ağrısı yaşamayan deney ve kontrol grubu arasında Statik Postural Kontrol parametreleri açısından farklılık bulunmazken, Dinamik Postural Kontrol parametresi açısından farklılık bulunmaktadır (p<0,01). Kontrol grubu deney grubuna göre daha yüksek ortalama değere sahiptir. Deney grubunun kendi içinde son 12 ayda boyun ağrısı yaşayan ve yaşamayan katılımcıları değerlendirildiğinde gözler açıkken ölçümlenen Genel ve Anteroposterior Statik Postural Kontrol parametreleri açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmaktadır (p<0,05). Boyun ağrısı yaşayanların ortalama değerleri yaşamayanlara göre yüksektir. Kontrol grubunun kendi içinde son 12 ayda boyun ağrısı yaşayan ve yaşamayan katılımcılar değerlendirildiğinde Statik Postural Kontrol parametreleri veya Dinamik Postural Kontrol parametresi açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmamaktadır (p>0,05). Son 12 ayda boyun ağrısı yaşayan deney ve kontrol grubu arasında CROM ölçüm parametreleri açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamaktadır (p>0,05). Son 12 ayda boyun ağrısı yaşamayan deney ve kontrol grubu arasında Sağ Rotasyon ve Sol Rotasyon CROM ölçüm parametreleri açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmaktadır (p<0,05; p<0,01). Kontrol grubu ortalama değerleri deney grubuna göre daha yüksektir. Deney grubunun kendi içinde son 12 ayda boyun ağrısı yaşayan ve yaşamayan katılımcılar arasında CROM ölçüm parametreleri açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamaktadır (p>0,05). Kontrol grubunun kendi içinde son 12 ayda boyun ağrısı yaşayan ve yaşamayan katılımcılar arasında CROM ölçüm parametreleri açısından istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamaktadır (p>0,05). Deney grubunda bilgisayar başında geçirilen süre medyan değerine göre iki grubu ayrılarak bu gruplar arasında Postural Kontrol parametreleri açısından bir farklılık olup olmadığı incelenmiştir. Sonuçlara göre Statik Postural Kontrol parametreleri açısından gruplar arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmazken, Dinamik Postural Kontrol parametresi açısından anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmaktadır (p<0,05). Bilgisayar başında 7 saat ve altı vakit geçirenlerin ortalama Dinamik Postural Kontrol değeri 8 saat ve üstü vakit geçirenlere göre daha yüksektir.Sonuç: Çalışmamızda elektronik spor oyuncularında boyun ağrısının varlığı görülmüş ve elde edilen sonuçlara göre postural kontrol açısından kontrol grubuna göre daha zayıf olduğu görülmüştür. Gelecek çalışmalarda olgu sayısının arttırılarak, farklı hassas cihazlar ve ölçümler ile karşılaştırılması önerilir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Elektronik Spor, Boyun Ağrısı, Postüral Kontrol.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is neck pain in electronik sports players and investigate the effect of pain on postural control.Methods: The study was conducted with 40 randomly selected 20 healthy individuals (control group) and 20 electronic athletes (experimental group). All participants were evaluated with Scandinavian Muscle and Skeletal System Questionnaire, Neck Disability Index and Visuel Analogue Scale and measurements were made with CROM and Biodex Balance System (BBS). The results were recorded. A total of 40 participants were included in the study.Results: There were no statistically significant differences between the groups except the length (p> .05). The length of the experimental group was longer than the control group. While the average time spent at the computer and sitting was higher in the experimental group, the average time spent on foot was higher in the control group than in the experimental group. When the Static Postural Control parameters were examined, all eyes open measurements had statistically significant differences between the groups (p <0.01; p <0.001), whereas not all eyes closed measurements differed between the groups (p <0.05). General (OSI), Anteroposterior (API) and Mediolateral (MLI) parameters in the eyes with open static position were significantly higher in the experimental group compared to the control group. There was a statistically significant difference between the experimental and control groups in terms of Dynamic Postural Control parameter (p <0.001). The control group had higher Dynamic Postural measurements than the experimental group. According to the results, there was no significant difference between the groups in terms of total neck disability score (p> 0.05). According to the Scandinavian Musculoskeletal Scale When the problem areas in the last 12 months were examined, neck (70 percent), Waist (75 percent) and Back (65 percent) showed the highest pain, while control group (60 percent), Back (50 percent) the highest pain areas.In the last 12 months, when any region was interfered with, it was found that both groups generally did not experience any problems. In the last 7 days, when the pain in the regions is examined, the neck region stands out with 55 percent in the experimental group. The average number of problems in the last 12 months and in the last 7 days was significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group (p <0.05; p> 0.001). When the groups were examined in terms of CROM parameters, no significant difference was found in terms of Flexion, Extension, Right and Left Lateral Flexion measurements (p <0.05), but the groups differed in terms of Right Rotation and LeftviiiRotation values (p <0.01). The control group had higher average measurement values than the experimental group. There was a statistically significant difference between the groups in terms of Visual Analogue Scale values (p <0.01). Accordingly, the mean VAS score of the experimental group was higher than the control group. There were statistically significant differences in the parameters of General, Anteroposterior and Mediolateral Static Postural Control measured with eyes open between the experimental and control groups who experienced neck pain in the last 12 months (p <0.05). The mean values of all parameters were higher in the experimental group than the control group. In the last 12 months, there was no difference between static and postural control parameters and dynamic postural control parameters (p <0,01). The control group had a higher mean value than the experimental group. There were statistically significant differences in the parameters of General and Anteroposterior Static Postural Control measured when the eyes were open when the participants in the experiment group were evaluated with and without neck pain in the last 12 months (p <0.05). The mean values of those who had neck pain were higher than those who did not. When the participants with and without neck pain were evaluated within the control group within the last 12 months, there were no statistically significant differences in terms of Static Postural Control parameters or Dynamic Postural Control parameters (p> 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference between the experimental and control groups who experienced neck pain in the last 12 months in terms of CROM measurement parameters (p> 0.05). There was a statistically significant difference between right and left rotation CROM measurement parameters between the experimental and control groups who did not experience neck pain in the last 12 months (p <0.05; p <0.01). The mean values of the control group were higher than the experimental group. There was no statistically significant difference in terms of CROM measurement parameters between the participants who had and did not have neck pain in the experimental group in the last 12 months (p> 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in terms of CROM measurement parameters between the participants who had and did not have neck pain in the control group within the last 12 months (p> 0.05). The experimental group was divided into two groups according to the median value of the time spent at the computer and whether there was a difference between these groups in terms of Postural Control parameters. According to the results, while there was no significant difference between the groups in terms of Static Postural Control parameters, there was a significant difference in terms of Dynamic Postural Control parameter (p <0.05). The average value of Dynamic Postural Control of those who spend 7 hours or less at a computer is higher than those who spend 8 hours or more.Results: In our study, the presence of neck pain was seen in electronic sports players and it was found that postural control was weaker than the control group. In future studies, it is recommended to increase the number of cases and compare them with different sensitive devices and measurements.Keywords: Electronic Sports, Neck Pain, Postural Control.
