According to the linear thought structure, result of the certain rules is that certain results. This condition cannot be performed to the linear thought as suitable in complex systems. The concept of 2+2=4 is that common idea used in medicine means the situation is the non-linear. But, it is not possible to face this necessity because we are in a position to explain non-linear concepts with linear concepts. If the structure of the system to be investigated is complex, it should be examined from a proper point of view. Therefore, there is a need for a paradigm change. To be able to examine the system with this point of view but only with the necessary knowledge.In our study, the concepts of complexity and chaos are explained and information about the patterns in the hospital environment is presented. Main aim is to provide the information about related concepts to managers, employees and students. Managers, employees and students with this knowledge will be able to improve systematic processes more efficiently in the guidance of this information.Key Words: Non-Linear Thought, Complexity, Paradigm Shift in the Health System.

Doğrusal düşünce yapısına göre belirli kuralların sonucu, belirli sonuçlardır. Bu durum karmaşık sistemlerde doğrusal düşünceye uygun gerçekleşmemektedir. Hekimler genelinde ve tıpta sıkça söylenen 2+2=4 sonucunu her zaman sağlamaz söylemi durumun non-lineer olduğunun işaretidir. Fakat bizler alışkanlığımız gereği; non-lineer kavramları lineer kavramlarla açıklama dürtüsünde olduğumuz için bu gereklilik durumu ile yüzleşmemiz pek mümkün olmamaktadır. İncelenecek olan sistemin yapısı karmaşık bir yapıda ise ancak ona uygun bir bakış açısı ile inceleme gerçekleştirilmelidir. Bu nedenle bir paradigma değişimi gerçekleşmesine ihtiyaç vardır. Sistemin bu bakış açısı ile incelenmesini sağlamak ancak ve ancak gerekli bilgi birikimi ile mümkün olacaktır. Çalışmamızda karmaşıklık ve kaos kavramlarının açıklanarak hastane ortamındaki kalıpları hakkında bilgiler sunulmuştur. Bunun temel amacı yöneticilere, çalışanlara ve öğrencilere ilgili kavramlar hakkında bilgi sağlamaktır. Bu bilgilere sahip olan yöneticiler, çalışanlar ve öğrenciler bu bilgiler ışığında sistematik süreçleri daha verimli ilerletme imkânı bulacaktır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Non-Lineer Düşünce, Karmaşıklık, Sağlık Sisteminde Paradigma Kayması.
