Today, there is an increase in energy consumption due to factors such as increasing population, developments in technology and economic growth. As it is known, the effects of fossil fuels both on the environment and not being renewable have pushed people to seek new energy. At this stage, solar energy is one of the main alternative energy sources since it is a resource to be utilized as long as the sun is still in existence. There is no need for complex technology to obtain energy from the sun. Photovoltaic devices, defined as solar cells or cells, are devices that can convert sunlight into electrical energy.The direct current produced by solar cells can also be converted into alternating energy current by means of inverters and inverters. The solar energy can be converted into electrical energy with an average efficiency of 5% to 25% parallel to the solar eye structure. To increase the power output, many solar eyes are connected to each other or connected in series to be transformed into PV modules. Photovoltaic (PV) modules are produced in the most recent technology of solar cells in calculators used by many people, and are of great importance since they are also the main source of solar power plants. There are some parameters that affect the efficiency and performance of PV modules. Depending on the structure of the eye, its internal resistance can lead to performance and efficiency losses. It can also cause loss of absorption, reflection, transmission, collection and resistance of the contact structure of the eye and the materials in which the eye is produced. The intensity of the light coming into the eye can also cause a decrease in efficiency. In addition, the temperature that comes to the eye is also one of the reasons that can cause a decrease or decrease in efficiency.Within the scope of this thesis, the structure, production and properties of solar cells will be discussed. After that, the PV modules will be discussed in detail and the related parameters will be discussed.

Günümüzde artan nüfus, teknoloji alanında gelişmeler, ekonomik büyüme gibi faktörlerden dolayı enerji tüketiminde artış yaşanmaktadır. Bilindiği üzere fosil yakıtların çevre üzerindeki etkileri ve yenilenebilir olmaması, insanları yeni enerji arayışlarına itmiştir. Bu aşamada güneş enerjisi, güneşin varlığını sürdürdüğü müddetçe yararlanılacak bir kaynak olduğundan alternatif enerji kaynaklarının başlıcalarından biridir. Güneşten enerji elde etmek için ise karmaşık bir teknolojiye ihtiyaç duyulmamaktadır. Çalışma başlıklarından olan güneş gözeleri ya da güneş pilleri olarak tanımlanan fotovoltaik aygıtlar, güneşten gelen ışığı doğrudan elektrik enerjisine dönüştürebilecek niteliğe sahip aygıtlardır. Güneş gözeleri tarafından üretilen doğru akım invertörler yardımıyla alternatif enerji akıma da dönüştürülebilir. Güneş enerjisi, güneş gözesi yapısına paralel bir şekilde ortalama olarak %5 ile %25 civarında verimle elektrik enerjisine çevrilebilir. Güç çıkışını artırmak için ise, pek çok güneş gözesi birbirlerine seri veya paralel bağlanarak PV modül haline getirilmektedir. Fotovoltaik(PV) modüller, pek çok insanın kullandığı hesap makinelerindeki güneş gözeleri, günümüzün en son teknolojisinde üretilmekte ve aynı zamanda güneş enerjisi santrallerinin temel kaynağı olduğundan büyük bir öneme sahiptir. PV modüllerin verimliliğini ve performansını etkileyen bazı parametreler vardır. Gözenin yapısına bağlı olarak kendi iç direnci performans ve verim kayıplarına neden olabilmektedir. Gözenin kontak yapısından ve gözenin üretildiği malzemelerin soğurulma, yansıma, iletim, toplama ve direnç kayıplarına da neden olabilmektedir. Gözeye gelen ışığın şiddeti de verimin düşmesine neden olabilmektedir. Ayrıca gözeye gelen sıcaklık da verimin düşmesine ya da artmasına neden olabilecek sebeplerdendir.Bu tez çalışması kapsamında öncelikle güneş gözelerinin yapısı, üretimi, özellikleri vb. unsurlar ele alınmıştır ve performans etkileyen parametreler incelenmiştir.
