Anesthesia for cesarean surgery must provide suitable surgical conditions, parturient security and comfort and should not lead to depression of newborns vital functions.In this study, we aimed to investigate the effects of anxiety and possible anesthesia complications on maternal satisfaction in cesarean section and compare general and spinal anesthesia in terms of maternal satisfaction.In this study, we analyzed 101 patients who underwent elective cesarean delivery between February 2015- May 2015. 50 patients prefered general anesthesia and 51 patients spinal anesthesia. The anxiety level of patients were assessed with the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI= State- Trait Anxiety Inventory) before surgery. To assess patient satisfaction the QoR- 40 (Quality of recovery) questionnaire was applied to patients and possible complications were questioned 24 hours after the operation.Our results demonstrated that patients operated with spinal anesthesia were more satisfied. Nausea and vomiting, low-back pain and shortness of breath had statistically significant negative impact on patient satisfaction.Key Words : General Anesthesia, Spinal Anesthesia, Patient Satisfaction, STAI, QoR 40.

Sezaryen ameliyatlarında anesteziden beklenen cerrahi için uygun koşulların oluşturulması yanında annenin güvenliği ve konforunun sağlanması ve bebeğin vital fonksiyonlarının deprese olmamasıdır.Çalışmamızda sezaryen olgularında spinal ve genel anesteziyi anne memnuniyeti açısından kıyaslarken, anksiyete ve olası anestezi komplikasyonlarının memnuniyete etkilerini araştırmayı amaçladık.Çalışmamızda Şubat 2015- Mayıs 2015 tarihleri arasında elektif sezaryen ile opere olan 101 hasta araştırıldı. Bu hastalardan 50'si genel anesteziyi, 51'i spinal anesteziyi tercih etti. Hastaların anksiyete düzeyleri operasyon öncesi durumluluk-süreklilik kaygı ölçeği (STAI= State- Trait Anxiety Inventory) ile tespit edildi ve operasyondan 24 saat sonra komplikasyonlar sorgulandı ve memnuniyet düzeyi ölçümü için ameliyat sonrası iyileşme kalitesini ölçen QoR- 40 anketi hastalara uygulandı.Çalışmamız sonucunda spinal anestezi ile opere olan hastaların daha memnun oldukları belirlendi. Komplikasyonlardan bulantı-kusma, bel-sırt ağrısı ve nefes almada zorluk varlığının memnuniyeti olumsuz yönde etkilediği istatistiksel olarak tespit edildi.Anahtar Kelimeler : Spinal Anestezi, Genel Anestezi, Hasta Memnuniyeti, STAI, QoR 40.
