Energy is one of the main factors affecting the economic, political and social development of the countries of the world. Demand for energy, especially due to increased population, industrialization and technological developments in developing countries, is increasing steadily. With this increase, countries want to achieve energy in an easy, cheap and uninterrupted manner. Thus, countries have shifted to alternative energy sources and systems where they can use energy more efficiently. In our country, applications for such systems are becoming widespread. Especially in the industrial sector, where energy consumption is high, recovery of the waste gas waste heat is at the beginning of these applications in order to use energy more efficiently. In this study, In this study, in order to increase energy efficiency in the Grammer factory which serves in the automotive sector, to improve energy efficiency, an economizer system has been designed and applied to utilize the paint drying oven waste to heat water then systems results and benefits was investigated.

Enerji, dünya ülkelerinin ekonomik, siyasi ve sosyal gelişimini etkileyen ana unsurların başında gelmektedir. Özellikle gelişmekte olan ülkelerde artan nüfus, sanayileşme ve teknolojik gelişmelerden dolayı enerjiye olan talep giderek artmaktadır. Bu artış ile ülkeler enerjiye kolay, ucuz ve kesintisiz bir biçimde ulaşmak istemektedirler. Böylece ülkeler alternatif enerji kaynaklarına ve enerjiyi daha verimli kullanabilecekleri sistemlere yönelmişlerdir. Ülkemizde de bu tip sistemler için uygulamalar yaygınlaşmaktadır. Özellikle enerji tüketimi fazla olan sanayi sektöründe enerjiyi daha verimli kullanmak için baca gazı atık ısısının geri kazanımı bu uygulamaların başında gelmektedir. Bu çalışmada otomotiv sektöründe hizmet veren Grammer A.Ş. fabrikasında enerji verimliliğini arttırmak için boya kurutma fırını atık ısısından yararlanarak sıcak su eldesi için bir ekonomizer sistemi tasarlanmış olup uygulaması yapılarak sonuçları ve faydaları değerlendirilmiştir.
