Objectives: In this study, it is aimed to examine the health-social-economic situation of the young people who attend to the Van Vali Alipasa Vocational Training Center and evaluate the factors affecting them in terms of submissive behaviour. Materials and Methods: Population of this cross-sectional study was the 15-22 aged adolescent(n:260) who were training apprenticeship education at Van Vali Alipasa Vocational Training Center in 2015-2016 education year. The sample was not selected and all of the population was tried to be reached. After information about the study, questionnaire forms was applied to 240 student. In this study, a questionnaire form developed from the literature, Kuppuswamy's Socioeconomic Status Scale and Submissive Behaviour Scale(SBS) were used. Results: Of the participants %15,4 were girl, %84,6 were boy. The boys had started to work earlier than the girls (p<0,001). The boys had more occupational accident than the girls (p=0,01). The mean value of the Submissive Behaviour Scale score was 44,3±11,4 and it is higher than the population average. The difference between them was significant statistically (p<0,001). In the participants who exposed to violence at home SBS score was higher than the others (p=0,03). In the participants who exposed mobbing at work place SBS score was higher than the others (p=0,03). Conclusion: In the participants submissive behaviours were observed more than the population. The young workers should be educated about their rights and liabilities. The activities should be done to raise awareness in the population.

Amaç: Bu çalışmada Van Vali Alipaşa Mesleki Eğitim Merkezi'ne devam eden gençlerin, sağlık-sosyal-ekonomik durumlarının incelenmesi, boyun eğici davranışlar açısından değerlendirilmesi ve etkileyen faktörlerin saptanması amaçlanmaktadır.Gereç ve Yöntem: Kesitsel tipte olan bu çalışmanın evrenini Van Vali Alipaşa Mesleki Eğitim Merkezi'nde 2015-2016 eğitim ve öğretim döneminde çıraklık eğitimi alan, 15-22 yaş aralığındaki 260 genç oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem seçilmeyerek evrenin tamamına ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışma hakkında bilgi verildikten sonra katılmayı kabul eden 240 öğrenciye anket formu uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada literatür ışığında geliştirilen anket formu, Kuppuswamy Sosyoekonomik Düzey Ölçeği ve Boyun Eğici Davranışlar Ölçeği kullanılmıştır.Bulgular: Katılımcıların %15,4'ü kız, %84,6'sı erkektir. Erkekler kızlara göre daha erken yaşta çalışmaya başlamıştır(p<0,001). İş kazası geçirme erkeklerde kızlara göre daha yüksektir(p=0,01). Katılımcıların BEDÖ puan ortalaması 44,3±11,4'tür. Katılımcıların BEDÖ puan ortalaması evren ortalamasından yüksektir ve aralarındaki fark anlamlıdır(p<0,001). Aile içinde şiddet gördüğünü ifade edenlerde görmediğini ifade edenlere göre BEDÖ puanı daha yüksektir(p=0,03). İş yerinde mobbinge maruz kalanlarda kalmayanlara göre BEDÖ puanları daha yüksek olarak saptanmıştır(p=0,03).Sonuç: Katılımcılar arasında topluma göre daha fazla boyun eğici davranış gözlenmiştir. Çalışan gençler hak ve sorumlulukları konusunda bilinçlendirilmeli, toplumda bu konuda farkındalık arttırıcı çalışmalar yapılmalıdır.
