In this study it is aimed to determine whether social gender perception is presented in an egalitarian sense in 100 Basic Works prepared for secondary school students, published in 2005 by the Ministry of National Education. For this purpose, the expressions reflecting social gender in the text of 100 Basic Works have been figured out. The data of the study was obtained by using the single scanning method from the narration based texts of Turkish literature in the 100 Basic Works. The data received from the scanned works were evaluated within the framework of the categories established for the purpose of the research and frequency analysis was applied to the data. By including all data of the identified categories in the study, their frequencies and percentages were calculated. The calculated frequencies and percentages were shown in the tables and depicted from the tables. Based on the findings of the study, it was concluded that social gender perception in 100 Basic Works was not presented with an egalitarian approach; on the contrary, masculine gender was seen as superior in many areas.

Bu çalışmada, Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı tarafından 2005 yılında yayımlanan ortaokul öğrencilerine yönelik hazırlanmış 100 Temel Eser'de cinsiyet algısının adalet temelli bir anlayışla sunulup sunulmadığının tespiti amaçlanmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda 100 Temel Eser metinleri içerisindeki cinsiyeti yansıtan ifadeler tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri, 100 Temel Eser içerisinde yer alan Türk edebiyatına ait tahkiye esaslı metinlerden tekil tarama yöntemi ile elde edilmiştir. Taranan eserlerden elde edilen veriler, araştırmanın amacına yönelik olarak belirlenen kategoriler çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiş ve verilere frekans analizi uygulanmıştır. Belirlenen kategorilere ait tüm veriler çalışmaya dâhil edilerek sıklıkları ve yüzdeleri hesaplanmıştır. Hesaplanan sıklıklar ve yüzdeler tablolarda gösterilmiş ve tablolardan hareketle betimlenmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulardan hareketle 100 Temel Eser'de cinsiyet algısının adalet temelli bir anlayışla sunulmadığı, aksine eril cinsin pek çok alanda üstün görüldüğü sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
