In this study the waste tire selected as raw material with the hazelnut shell selected as biomass waste material by mixing in different ratios (80:20, 60:40, 50:50, 20:80) was subjected to pyrolysis process. Firstly, to able to determine the thermal deformation behaviors of the raw materials and in order to calculate the activation energy for each blend ratio using DAEM method, pyrolysis was carried out by thermogravimetric analysis method. Then, kinetic studies of the pyrolysis process were performed with the help of data obtained from TGA. In order to produce solid, liquid and gas products, waste tire and mixture of waste tire-hazelnut husk mixed at 80:20 ratio by mass, at different temperatures(400, 500 ve 600oC) experiments were carried out in the pyrolysis reactor. Finally, characterization of the products produced in pyrolysis studies was performed using FT-IR, SEM-EDS, GC-MS, TGA-FTIR, 1H-NMR and BET. As a result of the characterization process, the synergistic effects on the contents of the products were determined by co-pyrolysis of the waste tire. The products produced were evaluated in terms of their potential to be a source of raw materials for energy production and important chemical substances and were determined to be able to be converted to environment properly.

Bu çalışmada hammadde olarak seçilen atık lastik, biyokütle atığı olarak seçilen fındık kabuğu ile farklı oranda (80:20, 60:40, 50:50, 20:80) karıştırılarak piroliz işlemine tabi tutulmuştur. İlk olarak hammaddelerin ısıl bozunma davranışlarının belirlenebilmesi ve DAEM yöntemi kullanılarak her karışım oranı için aktivasyon enerjisinin hesaplanabilmesi amacıyla piroliz işlemi termogravimetrik analiz yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Daha sonra TGA'dan elde edilen veriler yardımıyla piroliz işlemine ait kinetik çalışmalar yapılmıştır. Atık lastik ve kütlece 80:20 oranında karıştırılmış atık lastik-fındık kabuğu karışımının farklı sıcaklıklarda (400, 500 ve 600oC) katı, sıvı ve gaz ürünler üretmek amacıyla piroliz reaktörde deneyleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Son olarak FT-IR, SEM-EDS, GC-MS, TGA-FTIR, 1H-NMR ve BET kullanılarak piroliz çalışmalarında üretilen ürünlerin karakterizasyonu yapılmıştır. Karakterizasyon işlemleri sonucunda atık lastiğin birlikte piroliziyle ürünlerin içeriklerinde meydana gelen sinerjik etkiler belirlenmiştir. Üretilen ürünler, enerji üretimi ve önemli kimyasal maddeler için hammadde kaynağı olabilme potansiyelleri açısından değerlendirilmiş ve çevreye uygun bir şekilde dönüştürülebildikleri belirlenmiştir.
