The European Landscape Convention (ELC) holds societies responsible for the environmental, social and economic impacts of degraded areas after mining activities. For this reason, ensuring the sustainability of the quarry after the mining process in the long run depends on well-planned landscape maintenance activities. This research aimed to reveal post-mining landscaping maintenance plans and use alternatives in abandoned quarries and re-planing-maintenance works. The purpose of the study is to establish the landscape maintenance process, to determine the total sensitivity of the area in the direction of the function analyzes, to form the landscape repair plans and to make the end use area alternatives. In this context, 5 landscape rehabilitation planning strategies have been determined and suggestions have been made in accordance with the function analysis and determination of the total sensitivity of the area. After the maintenance planning, it was decided to use the most appropriate space utilization alternatives. According to the analysis made by using the obtained data, it was concluded that the prioritized sensitivity for the formation of the planning format of the post-mining areas and the determination of the area use alternatives by putting out landscaping maintenance plans were reached in the research which fulfills the necessity of rehabilitation of landscapes that are damaged under ELC.Key Words: Landscape Maintenance, Quarrying, Landscape Function, Landscape Sensitivity, Landscape Planning, Land Use.

Avrupa Peyzaj Sözleşmesi (APS), madencilik faaliyetleri sonrası bozulmuş alanların çevresel, sosyal ve ekonomik etkilerinden toplumları sorumlu tutmaktadır. Bu nedenle taş ocakları madenciliği sonrası çevrenin uzun vadede sürdürülebilirliğinin sağlanması planlanmış peyzaj onarım faaliyetlerine bağlıdır. Bu araştırma, terkedilmiş taş ocaklarında faaliyet sonrası peyzaj onarım planlarının ve kullanım alternatiflerinin belirlenmesi ile yeniden planlama-onarım çalışmalarını ortaya koymayı hedef almıştır. Araştırmanın amacı faaliyet sonrası peyzaj onarım sürecini oluşturmak, fonksiyon analizlerinin doğrultusunda alanın toplam hassasiyetinin belirlenmesini, peyzaj onarım planlarının oluşturulmasını ve bu analizler sonucu alan kullanım alternatiflerinin oluşturulmasını sağlamaktır. Bu kapsamda yapılan fonskiyon analizleri ve alanın toplam hassasiyetinin belirlenmesi doğrultusunda 5 peyzaj onarım planlama stratejisi belirlenmiş ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Onarım planlaması sonrası en uygun alan kullanım alternatiflerine karar verilmiştir. APS kapsamında bozulan peyzajların onarımı gerekliliğini yerine getiren araştırmada, elde edilen verilerden yararlanılarak yapılan analizler sonucuna göre faaliyet sonrası alanların planlama formatının oluşturulmasında öncelikli hassasiyetin belirlenmesi ve peyzaj onarım planlarının ortaya konulması ile alan kullanım alternatiflerine karar verilmesi sonucuna varılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Peyzaj Onarımı, Taş Ocakları, Peyzaj Fonksiyonu, Peyzaj Hassasiyeti, Peyzaj Planlama, Alan Kullanım.
