The purpose of the study, is evaluating the cognitive empathy skills of the first degree relatives of people who has schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, using ` Reading the mind in the eyes test (rmet)`. The cognitive disorders and the corruptions in social affairs in schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, are commonly accepted by researchers. In the light of the studies that were conducted with the patient's first-degree relatives, it was dwelt upon weather theory of Mind disorder carries endophenotype features or not. Evaluating the skills of mentalizing of the first degree relatives of patients diagnosed with schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, will make us understand the nonfunctionality of theory of mind, which is frequently encountered in schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, better.The `Reading the mind in the eyes test (RMET)` performances of the patients who applied to NP Istanbul brain Hospital then diagnosed with schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders according to DSM V diagnostic criteria between the dates of January 2019 and April 2019, first degree relatives of these patients and the control group that doesn't have any psychiatric diagnoses were compared. We analyzed the correct scores (recognized emotion) and the incorrect scores (unrecognized emotion) received from RMET.Statistically significant differentiation was detected between the patients diagnosed with schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, the first degree relatives and the control group (H(2)=57,691, p<0,001 ve H(2)=57,067, p<0,001). Patient's incorrect scores (unrecognized emotion) that are acquired from RMET ocurred significantly high in comparison with the patients first degree relatives and the control group (p<0,05).According to the findings of our research, there being a significant differentiation between patients with schizophrenia disorder and their first degree relatives' incorrect scores in RMET, is the necessity of testing in detail because of the fact that it could take an important role in developing schizophrenia disorder as cognitive empathy developmentally or endophenotypically.Key Words: Cognitive empathy, Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, Endophenotype.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Gözlerden Zihin Okuma Testi (GZOT) kullanılarak şizofreni ve diğer psikotik bozukluklarının birinci dereceden yakınlarının bilişsel empati becerilerini değerlendirmektir. Şizofreni ve diğer psikotik bozukluklarda, bilişsel bozulmalar ve sosyal ilişkilerdeki bozulmalar araştırmacılar tarafından yaygın olarak kabul edilmektedir. Hastanın birinci dereceden yakınları ile yapılan çalışmalar ışığında zihin kuramı bozukluklarının endofenotip özellik taşıyıp taşımadığı üzerinde durulmuştur. Şizofreni ve diğer psikotik bozukluk tanısı almış hastaların birinci dereceden yakınlarının zihinleştirme yetilerini değerlendirmek, şizofreni ve diğer psikotik bozukluklarda sıkça karşılaşılan zihin kuramındaki işlevsizliği daha iyi anlamamıza katkı sağlayabilecektir. Ocak 2019- Nisan 2019 tarihlerinde NP İstanbul Beyin Hastanesine başvuran DSM-V tanı kriterlerine göre şizofreni ve diğer psikotik bozukluk tanısı alan hastalar, bu hastaların birinci dereceden yakınları ve herhangi bir psikiyatrik tanısı bulunmayan kontrol grubunun Gözlerden Zihin Okuma Testi (GZOT) performansları karşılaştırıldı. Test GZOT'inden elde edilen doğru sayıları (tanınan duygu) ve yanlış sayıları (tanınmayan duygu) analize tabi tutuldu. Şizofreni ve diğer psikotik bozukluk tanısı almış hastalar, hastaların birinci dereceden yakınları ve kontrol grubu arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılaşma saptandı(H(2)=57,691, p<0,001 ve H(2)=57,067, p<0,001). Hastaların Gözler Testinde elde edilen yanlış skorları (tanınmayan duygu), hastaların birinci dereceden yakınları ve kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı derecede yüksek çıktı (p<0,05).Araştırmamızdaki bulgulara göre, şizofreni ve diğer psikotik bozukluk tanısı almış hastalar ve onların birinci dereceden yakınlarının GZOT'indeki yanlışlar arasında anlamlı farklılaşma olması, bilişsel empatinin gelişimsel veya endofenotip olarak şizofreni hastalığının gelişmesinde rol oynayabileceği bundan dolayı da daha detaylı sınanması gerekliliğidir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Bilişsel (Kognitif) Empati, Şizofreni ve Diğer Psikotik Bozukluklar, Endofenotip.
