Daha sonra doldurulaThis study was carried out descriptively in order to determine the attitudes of parents with children between the ages of 0-12 on rational drug use and to examine the introductory characteristics of parents that affect rational drug use attitudes. The sample was made up of parents (n = 719) of children studying in a public primary school in Istanbul. The data of the study were collected using the Introductory Characteristics Form and the Parental Attitude Scale (AIKYETÖ) for the Use of Rational Drugs. Descriptive statistical tests, Student's t test, Mann Whitney U, One Way Anova test were used in the analysis of the study. The mean score of the parents' AIKYETÖ score was 174.96 ± 17.77, the mean score of correct and conscious drug use was 132.36 ± 14.35, and the mean score of effective and safe drug use was 42.59 ± 8.20.A significant difference was found between the place where parents lived for a long time, their family types, income status, educational status, number of children, ages of their children, child gender, the place they applied in cases of illness and their use of over-the-counter medication and the mean scores of AIKYETO (p <0.05). It was found that there was a statistically significant difference between the parents' longest living place, family types, income status, educational status, number of children, ages of their children, child gender, place where they applied in case of illness and correct and conscious drug use sub-dimension mean scores (p < 0.05). It was found that there was a significant difference between the number of children of parents, the place they applied in cases of illness and their use of over-the-counter medication, and the mean scores of effective and safe drug use sub-dimension (p <0.05).In line with these results, it was found that parents lacked knowledge about rational drug use. The longest living place is the district and village, living in the extended family, less income and equivalent income, low educational status, high number of children, newborn children, especially girls, applying to the family health center when the child is sick and As the average of AIKYETO score of parents who used non-prescription medication was low, it was suggested that this situation should be taken into consideration in the planned training programs and comprehensive studies on AIK in children.caktır.

Bu çalışma 0-12 yaş aralığında çocuğu olan ebeveynlerin akılcı ilaç kullanımı konusundaki tutumlarını belirlemek, ebeveynlerin akılcı ilaç kullanım tutumlarını etkileyen tanıtıcı özelliklerini incelemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapıldı. Örneklemini İstanbul' da bir devlet ilkokulunda eğitim görmekte olan çocukların ebeveynleri (n=719) oluşturdu. Araştırmanın verileri Tanıtıcı Özellikler Formu ve Akılcı İlaç Kullanımına Yönelik Ebeveyn Tutum Ölçeği (AİKYETÖ) kullanılarak toplandı. Çalışmanın analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistiksel testler, Student's t test, Mann Whitney U, One Way Anova testi kullanıldı. Ebeveynlerin AİKYETÖ puan ortalaması 174.96 ± 17.77, doğru ve bilinçli ilaç kullanımı alt boyutu puan ortalaması 132.36± 14.35, etkili ve güvenli ilaç kullanım alt boyutu puan ortalaması 42.59 ± 8.20 olarak bulundu. Ebeveynlerin en uzun süre yaşanılan yer, aile tipleri, gelir durumları, eğitim durumları, çocuk sayıları, çocuklarının yaşları, çocuk cinsiyetleri, hastalık durumlarında başvurdukları yer durumları ile doğru ve bilinçli ilaç kullanımı alt boyutu puan ortalamaları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark olduğu bulundu (p<0.05). Ebeveynlerin çocuk sayıları, hastalık durumlarında başvurdukları yer ve reçetesiz ilaç kullanma durumları ile etkili ve güvenli ilaç kullanımı alt boyutu puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı fark olduğu bulundu (p<0.05). Bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda ebeveynlerin akılcı ilaç kullanımı konusunda bilgi eksikliklerinin olduğu bulundu. En uzun süre yaşanılan yer ilçe ve köy olan, geniş ailede yaşayan, geliri giderinden az ve geliri giderine denk olan, eğitim durumu düşük olan, çocuk sayısı fazla olan, yenidoğan çocuğu olan, özellikle kız çocuğa sahip olan, çocuğu hastalandığında aile sağlığı merkezine başvuran ve reçetesiz ilaç kullanan ebeveynlerin AİKYETÖ puan ortalamasının düşük olması sebebiyle, planlanacak eğitim programlarında bu durumun dikkate alınması ve çocuklarda AİK konusunda kapsamlı çalışmaların yapılması önerildi.Anahtar kelimeler: Akılcı ilaç kullanımı, ebeveyn, tutum.
