The aim of this study is to examine the effect of cartoon animations on learning process on the level of learning tennis sport on children aged 7-8. Another purpose of the study is to reveal the responses that children have reacted to the concrete learning models in an age where their motor skills have freshly begun to take form and to examine the effects of forming learning on the levels of learning. When classical learning models, instruction via demonstration model and other learning models are approached with a cartoon script, to what extend does it make a difference; to examine the effect of this on the results of AOS test is also another aim of our study. The research study includes a-8-week period in which the four basic strokes (Forehand Basic Stroke, Backhand Basic Stroke, Basic Volley and Basic Serve) used in teaching tennis have been demonstrated via cartoon characters and have been performed by students in a game setting in order to realize their learning right after. Studies have been conducted with 4 different groups in the research and On-Court Assessment For ITN 10,3 – 10,1 Test implemented by ITF has been applied to the participants as pre-test and post-test. As sample group, 20 students (12 male, 8 female) aged 7-8 from Özel Aydın Doğan Primary School in Erzurum city centre; 20 students (11 male, 9 female) aged 7-8 from Fatih Primary School in Horasan Province; 20 students (10 male, 10 female) aged 7-8 from İnkılap Primary School in Horasan Province and lastly 20 students (10 male, 10 female) aged 7-8 from Atatürk Primary School again in Horasan Province have been randomly selected. AOS has been applied to the students as pre-test and results have been noted. During the 8 weeks, a schedule including both cartoon watching and practice has been followed by students 3 days in a week; and AOS test has been applied as post-test. A month after the schedule AOS test has been again applied to the same students in order to check the permanence of their learning. In the analysis of the data, 3 different statistical analyzes were applied and these analyzes were done with SPSS for Windows 22.00 statistical package program. The significance level of the data was taken as p = .05. According to On-Court Assessment For ITN 10,3 – 10,1 Test results, there is a significant difference between pre-test and post-test with the group who has only practiced and with the group who has both watched cartoons and practiced. Additionally, there is also significant difference between the group who has practiced and the group who has just watched cartoons. Based on the results of this research study, it is anticipated that curricula improved with cartoons could affect learning positively and could facilitate learning processes in the athlete education programmes in our country. It is considered that similar circumstances could have an increasing effect in pre-learning in teaching all other sports branches.

Bu araştırmanın amacı 7-8 yaş grubu çocukların öğrenme tenis sporunu öğrenme düzeylerinde Çizgi Film Animasyonun öğrenmeye olan etkisinin incelenmesidir. Diğer bir amacımız ise motor becerilerinin henüz şekillenmeye başladığı bir dönemde çocukların somut öğrenme modellerine göstermiş oldukları tepkilerin ortaya konması ve öğrenmenin şekillendirilmesinin öğrenme düzeylerine etkisinin incelenmesidir. Klasik öğrenme modelleri, demonstrasyon öğretim modeli ve diğer öğrenme modellerinin bir çizgi film senaryosuyla ele alındığında ortaya çıkan değişimin hangi aşamalarda ve AOS test sonuçlarına etkisinin incelenmesi de bir başka amacımızı göstermektedir. Araştırma çalışmamızda Tenis öğretiminde kullanılan dört vuruş şeklinin (Forhand Temel Vuruş, Backhand Temel Vuruş, Vole Temel Vuruş ve Servis Vuruşu) çizgi film karakterleri aracılılığıyla görmeleri ve hemen ardından oyun uygulamasında öğrenmelerinin gerçekleşmesi ile 8 haftalık bir süreci içermektedir. Çalışmamızda 4 farklı grupla çalışmalar yürütülmüş ve ITF tarafından uygulanan On-Court Assessment For ITN 10,3 – 10,1 Test ön test ve son test olarak katılımcılara uygulanmıştır. Örneklem grubumuzu Erzurum ili merkezde bulunan yaşları 7-8 olan Özel Aydın Doğan İlköğretim Okulunda 20 (12 erkek 8 bayan), Horasan İlçesi Fatih İlköğretim Okulu yaşları 7-8 olan 20 (11 erkek – 9 bayan), Horasan ilçesi İnkılap İlköğretim okulu yaşları 7-8 olan 20 (10 erkek – 10 bayan), yine Horasan ilçesi Atatürk İlköğretim okulu yaşları 7-8 olan (10 erkek – 10 bayan) olan ilköğretim birinci kademe öğrencilerinden rastgele ve tesadüfi olarak seçilmiştir. Öğrencilere ön test AOS yapılmış ve kaydedilmiştir. Öğrencilere haftanın üç günü olmak üzere 8 hafta süresinde program protokol uygulamaları yapılarak son test olarak tekrar AOS test yapılmıştır. Program sonrasında aynı öğrencilere bir ay sonra tekrar AOS test yapılarak eğitimlerin kalıcılık etkisi üzerine bakılmıştır. Araştırmada verilerin analizinde 3 farklı istatiksel analiz uygulanmış ve bu analizler SPSS for Windows 22.00 istatiksel paket program ile yapılmıştır. Verilerin anlamlılık düzeyi p=.05 olarak alınmıştır. On-Court Assessment For ITN 10,3 – 10,1 Test sonuçlarına bakılarak ön test ve son test arasında Çizgi Film İzleyip uygulama yapan grup ile sadece uygulama yapana arasında anlamlı fark olduğu görülmektedir. Ayrıca uygulama yapan grup ile de sadece çizgi film izleyen gruplara arasında da anlamlı farklar görülmektedir. Bu araştırma çalışmasının sonuçlarına bağlı olarak ülkemiz sporcu yetiştirme programlarında çizgi film ile geliştirilmiş eğitim programları öğrenmeyi olumlu yönde etkiyebileceği ve öğrenme süreçlerini hızlandırabileceğini ön görmekteyiz. Benzer senaryolar diğer bütün spor dallarının öğretilmesinde ön öğrenmeyi artırıcı bir etkiye sahip olacağı kanaatindeyiz.
