In this work; the general characteristics of the currency futures, their using areas, advantages and the clear system which is new in our country are tried to be explained on the basis of Takasbank. In our country, the clear of the currency futures are executed by Takasbank and the clearing center has the duty of being the guarantor of the seller against the buyer and the guarantor of the buyer against the seller and at the same time, the bank evaluates the guaranties provided by the members based on the daily price changes. Takasbank provides the services of both central clear and also central safe keeping.

Bu çalışmada; dövize dayalı vadeli işlemlerin genel özellikleri, kullanım alanları, avantajları ve Ülkemizde yeni olan bu piyasanın takas sistemi Takasbank temel alınarak anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Ülkemizde vadeli işlemlerin takası, Takasbank tarafından yerine getirilmekte, olup takas merkezi bu işlemlerde alıcıya karşı satıcı satıcıya karşı alıcı olarak garantörlük görevi üstlenmekte, aynı zamanda üyelerden aldıkları teminatları günlük fiyat değişikliklerine bağlı olarak günlük olarak değerlemektedir. Takasbank hem merkezi takas, hem merkezi saklama hizmeti vermektedir.
