This study include a group of scripts in this subject. With a clarification to the meaning of "example" and its usage in holy Quran. It also showed the types of examples that declare meanings and what does we mean by giving an example. Besides, We have mentioned of the difference between wisdom and example. This study also declared the importance of knowing the meaning of examples - which results a lot of benefits- and it declared the types of examples in holy Quran. Then, it talked about educational objectives of giving examples. Finally, it showed the matters that have been declared and authorized by examples in holy Quran with an indication of the way the Quran gave examples.

تضمنت هذه الدراسة عرض مجموعة من المؤلفات في هذا الموضوع، مع بيان المراد بالمَثَل، واستعمالاته في القرآن الكريم، إضافة إلى بيان أنواع الأمثال المضروبة للمعاني، وما نعنيه بضرب المثل، مع ذكر الفرق بين الحكمة والمَثَل، كما تطرقت هذه الدراسة لإبراز ما للأمثال والعلم بها من أهمية، وما ينتج عن ذلك من الفوائد، كما تطرقت إلى ذكر أنواع الأمثال في القرآن الكريم. وبعد ذلك جاء الكلام على الأهداف التربوية لضرب الأمثال، ثم عرض الأمور التي تَرِدُ الأمثال في القرآن لبيانها وتقريرها، مع بيان طريقة القرآن الكريم في ضرب الأمثال.
