The purpose of this study is to determine the most suitable cutting methods and parameters by using different cutting methods in the wire cut erosion machine of 17-4 Ph stainless steel material which is used mostly in stainless steel materials. For this purpose, cutting methods of different model values of a model with different values have been changed and cuts of 10 models have been performed for each method of wire erosion machine with a 0.25 mm thick brass wire. The wire used in our experiment has been produced with high strength, high performance during cutting, short circuit-free and perfect raw material and improved annealing techniques to obtain a smooth surface quality. In order to see the geometry errors and the measurement imperfections of the models performed, each model is measured with precision coordinate measuring device and their accuracy is evaluated. Surface roughness values of each model were measured and changes in surface quality were investigated. Hardness measurements were used to evaluate the hardness changes on the models. As a result of these experiments and investigations, it has been given information about the dimensions, hardness and surface quality of the material as a result of the cutting of the wire with the wire erosion machine. The most appropriate progress and cutting method are explained by explaining which progress and cutting methods are obtained.

Bu çalışmanın amacı paslanmaz çelik malzemelerden en çok kullanılan 17-4 Ph paslanmaz çelik malzemenin tel erozyon tezgahında çoklu kesim yöntemleri ile farklı ilerlemeler kullanılarak en uygun kesme yöntemi ve parametrelerinin belirlenmesidir. Bu amaçla ölçüsel değerleri belirlenen bir modelin farklı ilerleme değerlerinde kesme yöntemleri değiştirilerek 0.25 mm kalınlığında pirinç bir tel vasıtası ile tel erozyon tezgahında her bir yöntem için 10 tane modelin kesimleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deneyimizde kullanılan tel yüksek mukavemete sahip, kesim esnasında yüksek performans, kısa devre içermeyen ve pürüzsüz bir yüzey kalitesi elde edilmek üzere mükemmel hammadde ve gelişmiş tavlama teknikleri uygulanarak üretilmiştir. Kesimi gerçekleştirilen modellerin geometrik hataları ve ölçüsel uygunsuzluklarını görebilmek adına her bir model hassas koordinat ölçüm cihazı ile ölçülerek doğrulukları değerlendirilmiştir. Her bir modelin yüzey pürüzlülük değerleri ölçülerek yüzey kalitesindeki değişimler incelenmiştir. Sertlik ölçümleri ile modeller üzerindeki sertlik değişimleri değerlendirilmiştir. Bu deney ve incelemeler neticesinde17-4 Ph paslanmaz çelik malzemelerin tel erozyon tezgahı ile kesimi neticesinde ölçüsel uygunluk, yüzey kaliteleri ve sertlik değerleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Bu değerlerin hangi ilerleme ve kesme yöntemler kullanılarak elde edildiği açıklanarak en uygun ilerleme ve kesme yöntemi hakkında açıklamalar yapılmıştır.
