Three-Dimensional Imaging (3D) and rapid prototyped (RP) planning models havebeen reported many times in the past two decades. It has always been described asan excellent diagnostic tool.1 The major limitations are the increased time needed2especially in management of emergency cases3,4 and increased costs.4,5 Some ofthe technical and organisational issues encountered in the implementation of thistechnology in a modelling service have been addressed elsewhere.6In this note I will describe the office based system, advantages, technique, and currentapplications.
