The present investigation was conducted during the two successive 2013 and 2014 seasons, on Clementine mandarin (Citrus clementina) trees of about 15 years old grown in loamy soil at the experimental station of the Faculty of Agriculture, Moshtohor, Benha University, Qalubiya Governorate. All the trees in this investigation were similar in growth, healthy, apparently free from diseases and planted at 5x5 meters apart. This study aimed to investigate the pollination requirements and the suitable pollinizers for Clementine mandarin cultivar in order to increase its production efficiency and fruit quality, through studying the effect of open pollination (control)-T1, self-pollination-T2, emasculation and bagging-T3, cross-pollination with Succary orange pollen grains-T4, cross-pollination with Balady mandarin pollen grains-T5, cross- pollination with March grapefruit pollen grains-T6 and cross-pollination with Balady orange pollen grains-T7. Results cleared that cross pollination with March grapefruit improved some fruit characteristics such as fruit set% and fruit retention. While, cross pollination with Balady orange increased fruit weight, fruit size, pulp weight, pulp/seed ratio, T.S.S percentage and T.S.S/acidity ratio of Clementine mandarin cultivar compared with self-pollination.

أجريت هذه الدراسة خلال الموسمين المتتاليين 2012/2013 و 2013/2014، على أشجار اليوسفي صنف كليمنتين عمرها حوالي 15 سنة مزروعة في أرض طينية في محطة التجارب بكلية الزراعة، مشتهر، جامعة بنها، محافظة القليوبية. وكانت كل الأشجار في هذه الدراسة متماثلة في النمو، والحجم، وخالية من الأمراض، ومزروعة على مسافات زراعة 5 م. هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الوصول إلى الملقحات المناسبة لأشجار اليوسفي صنف كليمانتين والتي بدورها تزيد إنتاجيته وجودة ثماره، من خلال دراسة تأثير كل من: التلقيح المفتوح – التلقيح الذاتي – خصي وتكييس الأزهار – التلقيح الخلطي بحبوب لقاح من صنف البرتقال السكري وصنف اليوسفي البلدي وصنف الجريب فروت مارش وصنف البرتقال البلدي. أوضحت النتائج أن التلقيح الخلطي بحبوب لقاح صنف الجريب فروت مارش أدى إلى تحسين بعض خصائص الثمار مثل نسبة عقد الثمار ونسبة الثمار المتبقية، بينما التلقيح الخلطي بحبوب لقاح صنف البرتقال البلدي أدى إلى زيادة وزن وحجم الثمرة، وزن اللحم، نسبة اللحم إلى البذور، نسبة المواد الصلبة الذائبة الكلية ونسبة المواد الصلبة الذائبة الكلية إلى الحموضة لصنف اليوسفي كليمانتين مقارنة بالتلقيح الذاتي.
