هدف البحث إلى دراسة فاعلية برنامج تعليمي في تنمية المستوى المعرفي لأمهات التلاميذ المعاقين عقلياً وأثره على جودة الحياة لديهنْ. وتكونت العينة من (22) أماً لتلميذ معاق عقلياً، وتم تقسيمهنْ إلى مجموعتين (التجريبية والضابطة) بواقع (11) لكل منهما. وتراوحت أعمارهنْ بين (2344) سنة، بمتوسط قدره (5‚32) وانحراف معياري (2‚7) سنة. وتم استخدام مقياس المستوى المعرفي [1]، ومقياس جودة الحياة[2] Amaya & Tomasini ( تعديل الباحث)، والبرنامج التعليمي (إعداد الباحث). أشارت نتائج الدراسة بالنسبة لمقياس الدعم المعرفي إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في القياس البعدي باتجاه المجموعة التجريبية في الأبعاد الفرعية والدرجة الكلية عند مستوى دلالة (01‚0). وإلى عدم وجود فروق في القياس التتبعي عدا البعد السابع (حقوق المعاقين عقلياً) عند مستوى دلالة (05‚0). وبالنسبة لمقياس جودة الحياة أشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في القياسين البعدي باتجاه المجموعة التجريبية عند مستوى دلالة (01‚0) في الأبعاد الفرعية والدرجة الكلية، ولم توجد فروق دالة في القياس التتبعي. وقَام الباحث بتفسير النتائج وفق التراث النظري والدراسات السابقة وطرح التوصيات والمقترحات البحثية.

The research aims to determine the effectiveness of an educational program in the development of the cognitive level of the mothers of mentally disabled pupils and its impact on quality of life to them. The sample consisted of (22) As for the mentally handicapped student, was into two groups (experimental and control) by (11) each. The ages ranged between (23-44) years, with an average of (5.32) and a standard deviation (2.7) years. It was the use of cognitive-level scale (Abbeduto et al., 2012), and the measure of quality of life (Amaya & Tomasini., 2014) (Amendment scholar), tutorial (prepared by the researcher).She noted the search results for the measure cognitive support to the existence of statistically significant differences in the dimensional measurement towards the experimental group in Sub-dimensional total score at the level of significance (0.01). And to the absence of differences in the iterative measurement except the seventh dimension (the rights of the mentally disabled) when the level of significance (0.05). For the measure of the quality of life results indicated the presence of statistically significant differences in the two measurements dimensional towards the experimental group at the level of significance (0.01) in the sub-dimensions of the total score. There was no significant difference in the iterative measurement. The researcher interpretation of the results according to the theoretical heritage of previous studies and research put forward recommendations and proposals.
