Line x tester analysis was used to test 16 new yellow inbred lines which crossed with two inbred lines as a testers, i.e. GZ666 and SK5021/19. The resulting 32 single crosses plus commercial checks SC162 and SC168 were evaluated at two locations, i.e. Sakha and Sids Agricultural Research Stations in summer season 2014 to estimate four traits, i.e. number of days to 50% silking, plant and ear heights (cm) and grain yield (ard/fed). The combined analysis of variance for studied traits cleared that the variances due to locations (Loc), hybrids (H) and (H x Loc) interaction were highly significant for all traits. The mean squares for lines (L), testers (T) and (L x T) and their interactions with locations were significant and highly significant for all traits, except (T) and (T x Loc) for plant height, and (L x T x Loc) for plant and ear height. The non-additive gene effects were the most responsible for controlling the inheritance of all traits, except for days to 50% silking. The additive gene effects were more interacted by locations for plant and ear height, while the non additive gene effects were more interacted by locations for days to 50% silking and grain yield. The best inbred lines in general combining ability effects (gi) were SK5011/96 for earliness, short plant and ear heights and SK5015/110 for grain yield. The tester inbred line GZ666 was the best combiner for all traits. The best cross for specific combining ability effects (Sij) was SK5011/100 x SK5021/19 for earliness, SK5015/109 x GZ666 for short plant height and ear height, and SK5015/109 x SK5021/19 for grain yield. The best crosses for earliness and grain yield compared to checks were SK5011/99 x GZ666 (32.48 ard/fed) SK5014/106 x GZ666 (33.99 ard./fed), SK5015/109 x SK5021/19 (34.15 ard/fed) and SK5015/110 x SK5021/19 (33.96 ard./fed).

استخدم تحليل السلالة × الكشاف لاختبار 16 سلالة جديدة صفراء حيث هجنت مع اثنين من الكشافات هما سلالة جيزة 666 وسخا 5021/19 ، قيمت الـ 32 هجين فردى الناتجة بالإضافة إلى هجينى المقارنة التجاريين هـ ف 162 و هـ ف168 فى محطتى البحوث الزراعية بسخا وسدس فى موسم صيف 2014 لتقدير صفات عدد الأيام حتى ظهور 50% من حرائر النورات المؤنثة ، ارتفاع النبات والكوز (سم) ومحصول الحبوب (بالأردب/فدان). أظهرت نتائج التحليل المشترك ما يلى: التباينات الراجعة للمواقع والهجن وتفاعلهما معا عالية المعنوية لكل الصفات. تباين كلا من السلالات والكشافات وتفاعلهما معا وكذلك تفاعلهما مع المواقع معنوى أوعالى المعنوية لكل الصفات عدا تباين الكشافات وتفاعل الكشافات مع المواقع لصفة ارتفاع النبات وكذلك تباين السلالة × الكشافات × المواقع لصفتى ارتفاع النبات والكوز، كان الفعل غير المضيف للجين الأكثر تحكما فى وراثة كل الصفات عدا صفة ظهور 50% من حرائر النورات المؤنثة ، وكان الفعل المضيف الأكثر تأثرا بالمواقع لصفات ارتفاع النبات والكوز بينما الفعل الغير مضيف كان أكثر تأثرا بالمواقع لصفتى ظهور 50% من حرائر النورات المؤنثة ومحصول الحبوب. كانت أفضل سلالة فى القدرة العامة على التآلف هى سخا 5011/96 لصفات التبكير وقصر ارتفاع النبات والكور وسخا 5015/110 للمحصول العالى. وكانت السلالة الكشاف جيزة 666 هى الافضل فى القدرة العامة على الائتلاف لكل الصفات. كانت أفضل الهجن المرغوبة فى القدرة الخاصة على التآلف هى سخا 5011/100 × سخا 5021/19 لصفة التبكير و سخا 5015/109 × جيزة 666 لقصر ارتفاع النبات والكوز و سخا 5015/109 × سخا 5021/19 لصفة محصول الحبوب. أفضل الهجن فى التبكير ومحصول الحبوب بالمقارنة بهجن المقارنة هى سخا 5011/99 × جيزة 666 (32.48 أردب /فدان) و سخا5014/106 × جيزة 666 (33.99 أردب بالفدان) ،سخا 5015/109 × سخا 5021/19 (34.15 أردب/فدان) وسخا 5015/110 × سخا 5021/19 (33.96 أردب/فدان).
