يتناول هذا البحث بالدراسة والتحليل بعض الظواهر الصوتيّة الواردة في كتاب (ما يحتمل الشّعر من الضرورة) للسيرافيّ، وهو كتاب في الضرورات الشعريّة ألّفه صاحبه كي يكون هذا العمل جزءًا من شرحه لكتاب سيبويه (الكتاب)، إلا أنّ السيرافيّ قد ضمّنه بعض التفسيرات الصوتيّة لبعض تلك الضرورات من نحو: إشباع الصوائت القصيرة، وتقصير الطويلة، وظاهرة الإتباع بين الصوائت، وظاهرة كراهيّة توالي الأمثال، وظاهرة تسهيل الهمزة. كما أدخل في باب الضرورة الشعريّة ما ليس منها كتعرضه للغات العرب التي تبدل فيها بعض الأصوات بأخرى من غير ضرورة، فذكر منها:عنعنة تميم،وكشكشة بكر، وعجعجة قضاعة. وعليه؛ فقد عمد البحث إلى استقصاء تلك الظواهر الصوتيّة وتصنيفها، ثمّ وصفها وتحليلها وفق علم النظم الصوتيّ. معتمدا في هذا على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي.

The present research studies and analyzes some phonological phenomena in Al-Sayrafi's book.But al-sayrafi has included some phonological explanations and interpretations of such licences, such as changing ofthe accusative marker al-fatha into nominative dhama, shortening the long vowels which are contrary to the above one,vocalic assimilation avoiding the sequence of identical sounds and mitigating the glottal hamza. He has also included inthe poetic licences certain aspects which are not considered as such like certain Arabic dialects in which some sounds areunnecessarily substituted by others as in substituting hamza by sound ayn, sh sound by k, and the sound ya by j.Hence, the researcher has investigated these phonological phenomena, classified, despaired and analyzed them inaccordance with the the phonological systems, relying upon the descriptive analytical approach.
