بالرغم من أهمية القطاع السياحي، إلا أننا نجده في الجزائر لم يرتقي بعد إلى المستوى الذي يكفل بلوغ الأهداف المرجوة منه خاصة وأنها تمتاز بالمقومات التي تمكنها من أن تكون في مصاف الدول السياحية، وحتى تتمكن الجزائر من التفوق على منافسيها عليها الاعتماد على ميزة تنافسية حقيقية كمنهج استراتيجي من أجل التوصل إلى منتجات وأساليب جديدة تؤمن لهذا القطاع البقاء ضمن جماعة المنافسين والنمو في السوق، ويعتبر التسويق من أهم الأساليب التي تسمح للمؤسسات السياحية بالتموقع المناسب في السوق، لذلك فسوف نتطرق من خلال هذا البحث إلى تشخيص واقع التسويق السياحي في الجزائر والتحديات التي تواجهه، وقد بينت أهم النتائج المتوصل إليها أن الجزائر لا تعتمد على استراتيجية تسويقية واضحة لتسويق السياحة الجزائرية، وهذا ما يخالف الوضعية الموجودة في الدول المتقدمة في المجال السياحي.

The tourism sector in Algeria did not achieves its objectives, although it has all the ingredients that qualify to be one of the most important tourist countries; therefore must rely on a real competitive advantage as a strategic approach enable them to stay within the competitors and growth in the market; and the marketing is the most important methods that allow taking proper positioning in the market; so this research will address the diagnosis and the reality of tourism marketing in Algeria and their challenge, The most important results showed reached that Algeria does not depend on a clear marketing strategy For the marketing of Algerian Tourism, and this is contrary to the situation in developed countries in the tourism sector.
