Vibration of pipe with different cross-section area such as (sudden enlargement-sudden contraction) conveying fluid exposed to heat is studied in this paper. Three types of supports are implemented in this investigation (flexible, simply, rigid) to show the effect of the cited supports on the pipe's response. The effect of external force which is applied at mid length of the pipe (between sudden enlargement and sudden contraction) is studied using the transfer matrix method. Applying this technique the natural frequencies, mode shapes, deflection, slope, bending moment, shear force, velocity, and pressure along the length of the pipe at different heat and Reynolds number can be computed. Two programs are used in this study MATLAB program and ANSYS program. The comparison of the results for these programs shows good agreement. Also another comparison was made between the pipe that used in this investigation (with different cross-section area) and straight pipe (the same conditions applied at the two pipes) to show the effect of changing the cross-section area of the pipe on its response.

تم دراسة تأثير تسليط حرارة على انبوب ذي مساحة مقطع مختلفة مثل (توسع وتقلص مفاجيء) معرض للاهتزاز ويجري فيه مائع. ثلاثة انواع مختلفة من التثبيتات استخدمت لتبين تاثير نوع التثبيت على سلوك النظام. تم دراسة تاثير القوة الخارجية المسلطة في منتصف الطول (بين التوسع والتقلص) للانبوب باستخدام طريقة المصفوفة الانتقالية. من خلال هذه التقنية يمكن حساب الترددات الطبيعية, نسق الاهتزاز, الانحراف, الميل, عزم الانحناء, قوة القص, السرعة والضغط وعلى طول أنبوب يجري فيه مائع لمختلف قيم الحرارة وقيم (Reynolds number). تم استخدام برنامجين في هذه الدراسة هما برنامج MATLAB وبرنامج ANSYS. مقارنة النتائج لهذين البرنامجين بينت تطابق جيد. تم اجراء مقارنة أخرى بين الانبوب المستخدم في هذا البحث (ذي مساحة مقطع مختلفة) مع أنبوب مستقيم (نفس الظروف طبقت على الانبوبين) لبيان تأثير تغيير مساحة المقطع على إستجابة الانبوب.
