أجريت هذه الدراسة على بحيرة البرلس في الفترة من أكتوبر 2012 إلى سبتمبر 2013 . تهدف الدراسة إلى تقييم أثر بعض الظروف البيئية على جودة المياه وتراكم الملوثات من العناصر الثقيلة (الحديد – المنجنيز – الزنك – النحاس – الرصاص – الكادميوم) في المياه خلال تلك الفترة. تم تقسيم البحيرة إلى عدد 15 موقع ( مصرف 8 – القرص – الداخلة – بشاروش – الكوم – البركة – الزنقة – إبساك – سنجار – البوغاز – نمرة 7 – الهوكس – برمبال – أبو عامر – مسطروه). تم تجميع عينات المياه بصفة دورية شهريا وفيها تم تحليل قياسات درجة الحرارة – الـ pH – الامونيا – الأكسجين الذائب – الشفافية SD – الملوحة – التوصيل الكهربي – الأملاح الكلية الذائبة في الحقل ثم تم تجميع العينات ووضعت في آيس بوكس ونقلت إلى المعمل المركزي لبحوث الثروة السمكية بالعباسة لإجراء باقي القياسات. وأشارت النتائج إلى أن المركبات النيتروجينية ( الأمونيا – النيتريت – النترات ) والفوسفور والكلوروفيل أ كانت أعلى في المواقع القريبة من فتحات مصبات المصارف فى البحيرة وعلى العكس من ذلك كانت الملوحة والتوصيل الكهربي والأملاح الكلية الذائبة والعسر الكلى أعلى كلما اتجهنا ناحية البوغاز. تركيزات العناصر الثقيلة يزداد فى إتجاه مصبات المصارف أيضا. وتوصي الدراسة بضرورة إنشاء بوغاز جديد والعمل بشكل مستمر في تطهير البوغاز الحالي وحمايته من إنجراف التربة جنبا إلى جنب مع إنشاء قنوات شعاعي.

This study aims to evaluate the effect of some environmental conditions on water quality and concentrations of some heavy metals in Burullus Lake from October 2012 to September 2013. The lake has been divided into a number of 15 or terminal site for periodic sampling (monthly) of water, fish and soil (drain 8- El Korse - El_Dakhla- Bacharoosh - EL- Kom EL -Akhdar - El-Berka - EL-Zanka - Ebsak - Singar- Boughaz -No.7- Hoksa - Brinbal- Abu- Amer and Mastaroh).Water samples were collected monthly. The results obtained revealed that nitrogen compounds (ammonia , nitrite and nitrate), phosphorus and chlorophyll a concentrations were higher in sites near the mouths of the drainage canals than in the other sites and the sites in the middle of the lake were higher than that nearby locations from one area water exchange between the Mediterranean Sea and the lake. Salinity, conductivity total dissolved salts and total hardness were higher in the sites near from the sea than the other sites as a result of water exchange between the Mediterranean Sea and the lake. The concentrations of heavy metals (Fe - Mn - Zn - Cu - Pb and Cd) in water were significantly increased in the direction of drainage canals draining into the lake and less in the direction of the Boughaz. Also noted that iron has the highest concentration in water, followed by copper , manganese, lead and cadmium. Also, we noted that the concentration of the studied heavy metals were below the permissible limits but increased than the previous years. The study recommends the need to establish a new Boughaz and work constantly in the current purge of the Boughaz and protect it from silting along with the establishment of radial channels.
